Wow! Another amazing experience with The Coolest! Rigo, Caleb, and Dave’s team removed our old system and installed an amazing, high-tech Bryant system. They were professional in everything they did. They communicated with us throughout the day, cleaned up after themselves constantly, and stuck around to make sure that we understood the system, that the app was downloaded, and that we were confident with the install. They’re even coming back tomorrow to make sure that we understand the system from a higher level. Highly recommend.

Called them since they were close to the house and they were out there the same day! Had our heater fixed very quickly! The tech was friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely use them again!

Update 2: This time I had a furnace issue, and of course the team is super responsive and friendly. Cannot recommend them highly enough. Update 1: Hired the team to help with some vent replacement and the service keeps getting better. Bianca, Rigo, and Carlos were so easy to work with and were super flexible. I will definitely reach out again for any HVAC issues that pop up. Super responsive to my request and provided great advice. Really appreciated the suggestions on my HVAC issues.

I can't praise this company enough. We used them years ago for some evap coil repairs and back then they were honest, reasonable, and did great work. When we needed a full system replaced, I reached out again. Reece came by and was awesome - kind, efficient, didn't upsell us on anything, listened to what we wanted, and quoted us a very fair price. 2 days later Hugo and Caleb came out and these guys crushed it - also super friendly, fast, the install really looks amazing (seriously I kinda just wanna take a beer in the attic and stare at it for a while in my best Hank Hill mode), they did great quality work. The Coolest is a great example of a company that despite growth cares a lot about quality, is super reasonable and doesn't push anything towards the customer they don't need which honestly is kinda hard to find in this space. Anyway, highly recommend!

I highly recommend this company for anyone needing HVAC work. I had a system installed on July 8, 2025 by Willie, Rigo and Carlos and they did an excellent job. They are professional, friendly, knowledgeable and they cleaned up after they finished. They took the time to explain the system and set up the new thermostat. I highly recommend them and The Coolest to anyone needing HVAC repair or replacement.

Dagan and Carlos were able to come out extremely quickly to handle a time-sensitive issue at one of our rental properties. They were able to ID the issue and fix it up no problem. Full transparency on what the issue was and how they resolved it. 10/10 would recommend them!

Rigo and Carlos provided excellent service at my condo today. I was able to continue working from home while they professionally took care of business. All the way from inspection by the first tech until completion the service by Rigo and Carlos, The Coolest LLC has been great to work with.

Had a technician out less than 24 hours after contacting them with my HVAC concerns. Diagnosed and fixed the issue in a speedy fashion (clogged drain line that caused water to back up and leak all over the HVAC closet). Definitely keeping these folks in mind for whatever future issues might arise down the road!

The heater on my package unit went out last night. I called a realtor friend of mine to see if she had any suggestions for service other the well known companies. See suggested these guys. What a surprise. They arrived several hours later and had me up and running in no time. Great service! Highly recommended.

My air conditioner was malfunctioning. The company sent out an extremely bright and efficient technician who diagnosed, then fixed the problem in a very short amount of time. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I reached out to The Coolest for a 2nd opinion on some very pricey repairs, and they were super responsive, very helpful during the consultation, and reasonably priced. I ended up going with another company, but it was a very tough decision! While I can't speak to their actual paid services, the support they showed was stellar and very much appreciated. Will definitely consider them in the future if my needs change!

Small leak in my mini split system... diagnosed, fixed in 30min on a 95°F first day of Fall!

These guys are, as the name would suggest, the coolest (and the best)! My AC coil went from working ok to broken real quick, and since it’s still hot I was overwhelmed and desperate to get it fixed. They made the process super simple for me, responding back with near immediacy to get a very thorough quote together completely via text and requiring only a few pictures from me of my existing equipment. Opting for a whole new system, the price I paid was beyond competitive for top quality equipment - coming in well below the other two quotes I got for similar or lesser optioned systems. The install crew showed up on time, was super friendly, and did amazing work (I’m talking This Old House quality). They got the replacement in, tested and working in under 8 hours and left the place cleaner than before they started. I cannot recommend them and Bryant enough to anyone that will listen!!

The guys who came to service my HVAC unit at The Coolest, Kaleb and Cole were outstanding. My HVAC was completely not working and despite this being a last min situation, The Coolest was able to fit me into the schedule asap so I would not have to check myself and my dog into a hotel. Throughout their work I was kept up to speed on how things were progressing and they were very personable unlike other companies where they make you feel as if you are inconveniencing them! I would absolutely recommend using The Coolest for any of your HVAC needs.

I've been using The Coolest for years, and they're just the best. They're always out to my house as soon as possible, and their techs always diagnose and fix the problem right away. They even look for ways to save me money. Really rare what these guys do, and I heartily recommend them.

The team of Willy, Rigo and Carlos were spectacular. They were flexible with my schedule, pushing out the job start time to accommodate an emergency I had. When they arrived, they treated our home with the utmost respect, communicated clearly, and then simply got to work. 6 hours later, they finished the install of a floor mounted mini split, helping address a home hot spot that had bothered our family for about five years! The inside of the house was left cleaner than when they started, and the outside looks very clean, despite the need to install electrical and copper lines - they hid it with a system that is very pleasing to the eye. From start to finish, working with The Coolest was fantastic -- Reese who came up with the idea of how to solve the issue was knowledgeable, fair when it came to pricing, and really on top of the scheduling of the install. The installers themselves, as I said earlier, were simply top notch. Ultimately, I'm simply delighted with the work and would recommend the company to anyone who has HVAC needs. They are as the name suggests, the coolest.

Their workers arrived on time as planned. They spent the next 10 hours disassembling the old heating and air conditioning equipment in my attic and outside, and reinstalling the new more efficient and quieter equipment. They did a wonderful job of checking everything they installed to make sure it works as designed. The work was done yesterday so I don’t have any long term comments yet.

They were able to work me into the schedule really quickly for an clogged line in my AC system. The technician, Jackson, explained the issue, how he would resolve it and recommendation to avoid it happening again in the future. Professional and respectful. I plan on using them again in the future

This was our second time using the coolest, and we’re so glad that we found them. We woke up to a warm house and realized that the outside unit was humming and overheated. I used the text feature on the website and Cole was at our house in just a few hours. He very quickly diagnosed the issue, repaired it, and we’re already back to normal temps in our house. The Coolest replaced a 27-year-old 2-ton unit with a high-quality variable speed one from Bryant and also installed two Solaris air purifying systems. The owner--Mark--spent way more time with us answering questions and following up with us than any other provider, which gave us peace-of-mind to make an expensive decision. His sales manager--Reese--did the same and updated estimates when needed. The crew who installed the unit was just as nice. They covered the entire floor with canvas where they walked, which is very much appreciated. They installed the unit in a 100+ degree attic and cleaned up after themselves. The unit and air system works great so far. After the sale, Mark followed up with submitting a rebate to the City of Austin, which actually went through. In addition, they provided an extended warranty. I highly recommend The Coolest for replacing an A/C unit.

Had my AC go out on a 100 degree day. With a quick phone call The Coolest team had a technician named Rigo over to my house in less than 90 minutes. Rigo was extremely nice, solved the problem in less than 15 minutes, and had the replacement parts needed to fix the unit. Some of the best service I’ve seen, all of this on a Sunday as well! I’d give their team 6 stars if I could!

The coolest have been servicing my hvac the last 18 months bi annually. Last week, the hvac stopped cooling. It was determined to be the coil in the attic as well as the compressor outside. The compressor was under warranty thru Lennox the coil was not. God bless the crew of three who showed up to toil for hours in what had to have been 115 degrees in the attic. The house was 95 degrees inside. They then skipped lunch to work outside on the hottest day of the year @103* degrees. Not sure how they did it but they did! They put drop cloths to protect the floors & that I really appreciated. The crew of 3 were so patient with all my questions and inquiries. I always try to learn anything I can for the next HVAC repair or replace. I appreciate this company and so happy I made the switch 2 years ago. Totally, recommend and I hope my crew of three got a lot of fluids and salt as that was a tough job! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

When my daughter's A/C went out last week, The Coolest was at her home within an hour and promptly fixed the problem. We appreciated the fast service.

The Coolest team was responsive and easy to work with, starting with Dagan and ending with Cole (three different times). Our situation was challenging and required a lot of adjustments, but after only six days, they had everything installed and dialed in. The upstairs is cool at last. We had four other companies out and their quotes were absolutely ridiculous. Also, The Coolest responded to issues and we never had to wait more than 12 hours to see someone.

This local family owned business did a great job taking care of my AC issues in peak summer heat. Bianca is an absolute pro at dispatching a technician fast and efficiently and giving me quick callbacks when I leave a message. Caleb and Cole are professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and tidy technicians. Even Mark, the owner, is clearly caring and professional to his employees and his customers. The team at the Coolest is the best in ATX. They go above and beyond, we’ve had three systems replaced with them and ongoing service. For one system we had the coolest do a quote that came in at 1/3 of a competitor. Willie on their service team went above and beyond to adjust an issue caused by the builder to ensure all systems were running efficiently.

Willie came to fix an issue with our AC unit and after inspecting both the inside and outside unit he diagnosed the issue and explained in detail what was going on, which we really appreciated. He gave us 3 potential options and was really transparent on the type of service and the breakdown of costs. Willie was able to unclog our drain which was causing our AC to switch on and off, install a new float switch to protect from further clogging and water damage, and cleaned our outside unit which had leaves and brush stuck inside. Furthermore, he gave suggestions for our insulation to reduce future energy costs and improve the air conditioning around our home. We were extremely pleased with his work and he completed it in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend Willie and if we have future needs we will definitely be requesting him.

Our AC had been turning off and on randomly and when it was turning on it wasn’t cooling the house nearly enough. We called the Coolest LLC and Willie came and helped us! He was very kind, explained everything that was going on with AC unit, walked us through the different options to fix it, and even shared simple things we could do ourselves. He assessed the issue and fixed it in the same day in a timely manner. Willie was fantastic and would recommend.

WARNING: I had read positive reviews about this company, but I had an awful experience. Had a new complete HVAC system installed and they left the job looking like this, with the ceiling pain/drywall coming down like this. In addition, I had some concerns about the humidity levels in my place with the new unit running. The owner, Mark, called me and was incredibly rude and disrespectful, saying that he had much bigger concerns than this right now and was going to get around to it eventually down the road. For someone who just spent a lot of money (10K) on a new HVAC system, found this customer service just really disappointing. The owner was downright nasty to me. They sent a technician, Cole, out to address my concerns, and upon leaving, I learned that he intentionally manipulated the system settings to create falsely improved humidity readings (see the pic of the calibration settings below) giving the appearance that the issue had been resolved, when it had not. This was a deliberate act of deception, and I was never notified that he had manipulated the calibration settings. As soon as I learned he did this, I contacted them about this, with very little response from the company, other than "yeah, he shouldn't have done that". I would highly, highly recommend you use another company, this was super shady business. ------------------------- In response to the owners comments below: I have never terminated our work together, I have been trying to get ahold of you guys to address my concerns with no response. Not cool, man. Can you personally reach out to me and schedule a visit? Under no circumstances should the diagnostics be adjusted to reflect a lower humidity level than it reads; this is manipulation, particularly given my chief concern of the humidity levels being too high. Your manager Lee even told me that this was inappropriate and he would speak to Cole about it. Furthermore, there was never any follow up visit discussed like you said. The crack in the wall was not small, it was big, and the pictures speak for themselves. This was right after the install of my new unit. Same day, just left like this, and you were rude about my concern to get this addressed quickly. Lastly, I never requested a full refund, and again you have demonstrated that your lack of customer service here by painting a patron (who just paid 10K for a new install) as a villain, rather than making things right.

Willie came out today to patch up an issue and was prompt, kind, and communicated clearly the issue and had it fixed quickly. We will be using The Coolest LLC again.

Our AC suddenly stopped blowing cold air around 6:30 PM yesterday, and my wife and I were already bracing for the worst. Our house is roughly 13 yrs old and we are still operating with the original AC unit, so we figured we were looking at a full system replacement - expensive, stressful, and the last thing we needed in this Texas heat. I called The Coolest first thing this morning at 7 AM, and someone actually picked up the phone! They scheduled us for same-day service, which already had me feeling a little better. The techs showed up around 1 PM, an hour earlier than scheduled, and got right to work. They were incredibly professional, courteous, and efficient. Within minutes, they had diagnosed the issue: we just needed a new compressor. That’s it! What we thought was going to be a huge expense turned out to be a much simpler (and way more affordable) fix. By 1:45 PM, our AC was up and running again, and the house was already cooling down. Massive thank you to the entire team at The Coolest. You saved us time, money, and a whole lot of sweat. Highly, highly recommend these folks if you’re in the Austin area and need AC help. True professionals who live up to their name!

We had the coolest come out earlier this year to a major repair on one of our AC units. Bianca kept us informed on when parts would arrive. Fast forward a few months later at 5pm on a Friday and as soon as I called with an issue they were out here! Luckily only needed more freon and we were good to go!

Fantastic crew. Rigo and his coworker (I forgot his name!) somehow smiled through the pain of working in a hot attic. Full AC replacement and we were provided with all of our options with pricing. Clean install and they pointed out a roof leak unrelated to the AC. I have another AC I’ll have them replace when it dies. Thanks Guys!

DECENT SERVICE, QUESTIONABLE BUSINESS PRACTICES The Coolest LLC was recommended to me for some work I needed on my HVAC system from a trusted party. Upon contacting them, they showed up quickly, diagnosed the system promptly, and addressed the issue. From a service perspective, their work was satisfactory. HOWEVER, the aftermath of the work was a bit nightmare-ish. A tech came to my place and I asked him if I could look over his shoulder to learn what he was doing and see the service in action. I told him, prior to addressing any work, I'd like him to give me the diagnosis and recommended service before proceeding. As I watched him from a few feet away he inspected the inside system for a few minutes before screwing a small plastic union onto the system and blew it out the drain line. He was in and out of my house in about 15 minutes. "There, all taken care of." He never told me what needed to happen nor did he provide me a quote for service. As he packed his things up he showed me an ipad with 5 different line items, including 3 "levels" of service that were required for simply blowing out the line. The amount he showed me was exorbitant, $489!! A standard service of this caliber in the Austin Market ranges $150-$225. I protested the price and called out that he never gave me a quote like we agreed to, I never agreed to service, and made it clear $489 was totally unreasonable. He went into his truck and magically sent over a new invoice price of $369, still WELL ABOVE the "acceptable market average." I contacted the team to discuss what had happened and the owner responded, justifying the rate due to all the costs of running a business (the same costs several other small to medium sized businesses charge half of that cost have). He made several assumptions about what "may have played out" at the house that weren't accurate and chalked up the outrageous $489 initial price as "an error in billing from a junior tech". We eventually reached an agreement on a more reasonable price but it was framed as a massive favor from his end just to honor a fair service price. I shared this with my friend who recommended them to me and he recalled the same exact scenario that played out for him - there was a "billing error from a junior tech" that saw his bill at nearly 3x the fair market rate for the service. There was a lot more to the exchange than this but the net net is: 1) cool company that feels "fun, unconventional , anti-corporate" 2) seem to leverage that "cool" feel to justify questionable business practices including dramatically overpricing their work, parts, etc. PROCEED WITH CAUTION! I've owned in Austin for 10 years and there seems to be a certain type of service contractor who takes advantage of unsuspecting individuals hoping they won't challenge them to keep them in check. I've heard a few different accounts about The Coolest LLC potentially falling into that category and just making up the billing error excuse whenever they're challenged. Decent service, seemingly unethical business practices. Make sure to get a quote up front and do your research on acceptable costs for the job if you're hiring them. Hope this helps!

Great experience with The Coolest. Kaleb troubleshot the system on a Friday afternoon and got us cool again with a temporary fix to make it thru the hot weekend. Willie & Rico showed up Monday morning with a full new system and did a great job on the installation, answered all questions, and got us fully up and running by the end of the day.

I couldn't have been more impressed with the service I got from Dagan and The Coolest. He was professional, polite and knowledgeable. He inspected both of my HVAC systems and clearly explained the issues he found. I was able to get service and quotes on the same day I called. They provided me with a couple of options - repair and replace - and I'm figuring out next steps. Really impressed with The Coolest! UPDATE: I ended up picking The Coolest to install two new HVAC systems in my house. I got quotes from three other companies and The Coolest was by far the most comprehensive and competitive. The install team - Willie, Rigo, Victor & Marco - were top notch and did an amazing job. They were professional and thorough. A few days later Cole stopped by to make a few minor adjustments, as well. Just like the rest of The Coolest team, he was terrific, too. I'm really happy with my choice to use The Coolest and couldn't recommend them more!

Called yesterday for estimate. Out by mid afternoon. No funny businees duing the quote process. Fair price for the work. Mark runs a great company. All of the employees are amazing. They are so friendly, very professional, trustworthy and very good at what they do. After contacting them, they came out the next day. They figured out my issue immediately and created a plan to get the problem solved (duct work issue and design). They have great communication before, during and after they visit. We have been The Coolest customers for the past 3 years, over which they have helped us fix a variety of problems with our unit. They have consistently been fair with pricing, really approachable in the way they talk you through what's going on with your system, and just overall great to work with. Most recently we unfortunately had to replace our entire system. Not only were they able to show up and diagnose the problem 30 minutes after I called, they were able to install a brand new system less than 24 hours later. Maybe it was luck (after working with the coolest for so long i do think it's just how they show up for their customers), but I can't say i've ever had that quick of a turnaround ever from any other service. Willie, Rigo and Cole were amazing in getting everything set up and working correctly. Can't recommend The Coolest enough.

I’ve used The Coolest for routine maintenance for the last couple of years. They’ve always been nice guys and easy to deal with. When it came time to replace our old A/C. Reece got us a quote later that day with four options. Once we decided, we had an installation scheduled for the next week. If I could give this company 6 stars I would! I have used them twice now in the capacity of both heating and cooling and they do great work in both departments. The customer service is great and very communicative. The technicians are very nice and knowledgeable as well. I use them about 6 months ago to replace some ductwork in my ceiling. They did an excellent job, worked very cleanly and did it right the first time. The second time I called them out here was to service my air conditioner. They replaced the capacitor and gave me advice on how to approach another issue that I might have to deal with in the future. They are on the level and won't charge you for anything that is not needed and I would recommend them to any of my friends and family.

Very prompt, courteous and professional, Rigo and Willie were fantastic! We had an entire system replaced and they showed up at 8 am on the dot and finished at 230. They explained how the system operates and familiarized me with the thermostat. They are definitely the team you want installing your HVAC system. Loved their attention to detail! A huge thank you to the entire team for the outstanding work on my HVAC system overhaul! I had all existing ductwork, furnace, compressor, and interior AC components removed. This was replaced with a two-stage, two-zone system, controlled by two Ecobee thermostats (one for upstairs and one for downstairs). Most of the ducts were moved and increased in size. The team also acted as general contractor for the drywall work and provided exceptional, white-glove service throughout the entire process. AC went out on a Saturday afternoon and the Coolest was quick to respond to my voicemail. The lovely woman I spoke with to schedule my diagnostic service visit was super kind and answered all of my many questions. By 9 AM Sunday morning Cole was here to diagnose my AC issue and equally prompt in fixing it. By 10:30 I had a full bi annual maintenance check and a clog removed from my drain line. Cole was very easy to chat with and made the experience a breeze. I really can’t recommend the Coolest team enough - - this coming from someone who has worked with another company for bi annual maintenance at another property. Definitely switching that HVAC to the Coolest plan as well.
