Delivered to the 2311 West Howard Ln in Austin, TX address. Arrived 45 mins early for 8am appt.. and was met out on street shoulder by Williams he called himself. Was told all the trucks had to leave before I could back in. All was okay until the 8am appt time came and hadn’t heard anything, so I walked in to get approval to back in but nobody around. Made a bunch of calls trying to locate forklift operator or who was supposed to be unloading. Took until 9:45am for someone to show. Once they broke seal things started to move along. I had to, with the help of a pallet jack, relocate all pallets(20ea) to the tail of trailer. Once on the tail, my buddy Williams(yah, he returned a little sheepish but okay.)he operated forklift and lifted off all skids to move it inside facility warehouse. We were done in approx 25mins and I was departing 10:20am. Thanks Williams ! No overnighting or bathrooms. Driveway entrance had a big dip between street and steep slope up to gate. Any trailers were dragging coming in or out even my bumper dragged slightly as my tandems were all the way forward backing in. I slid them back 3 holes and was fine on way out. Definitely a challenging situation when delivering at this location but it all worked out in the end. West Howard Ln is a very busy street and early morning sun blinding so with all that, traffic was cooperative .
“Best” is an ironic company name coming from the worst skill and communication I’ve seen from an insulation company. Save yourself the time and money down the road by hiring someone else. I haven’t hired them personally, and can’t speak on the people involved, but I have worked on the same jobs as Best and can speak on the quality of work I’ve seen first hand. This insulation company has been used on two jobs that I had done work at, one professionally and the other I was helping a family friend at. Both jobs they cut multiple electrical wires when shaving their spray foam insulation. The first job they cost the builder/home owner over $2000 in material and labor to fix all the electrical work they destroyed, and refused to help reconcile the situation with the home owner. The second job, the wire they cut cause them to have to uninstall cabinets, cut/repair sheetrock, all in an effort to reach the wire they cut. All in all, sloppy work and no communication or ownership of their mistakes.
