Johnny from Duct-X was fantastic. He showed up on time, explained everything clearly, and took care of our issue quickly and professionally. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing. Great service highly recommend!

They came out quickly and the technician was very friendly but the service was so so. The technician got soot marks on my light-colored rug and when I called them about it, they insisted the technicians always roll back the rugs before starting so it couldn't have been him. Luckily, I had taken a picture of the technician cleaning the fireplace kneeling on the rug, so I had proof and the company said they would pay for a cleaning. I had to request the aerial shots of my chimney. Also, there was a cracked panel in the back. They told me if I didn't replace it, it could warp the fireplace behind it. One cement panel and they quoted $1,200 to replace it. Absurd. The panel at Georgetown Fireplace and Patio was $300, and it would take maybe 20 minutes to cut it to size. I got a second opinion from another company who said I could probably get by without replacing it, but if I did, they would charge me $400-$500 to replace one panel and $1,200 to replace all 3 panels. Major price gouging by Duct-X. I wouldn't hire them again.

Noah from Duct X is awesome. We wanted to get our chimney inspected before use, and they recommended a Stage 3 cleaning and some additional safety work. This was the costliest of the cleanings, but we felt comfortable knowing that the chimney probably had never been professionally cleaned before. The team even gave us a couple of discounts to help us feel better about the price! Noah explained everything in great detail, answered all our questions and made sure we understood every step of the process. The only snafu was being rescheduled last minute because of the freeze, but they were able to work us in around our schedule for the week after. Would highly recommend this team!

These people are a scam , I had spoke to some one when booking them to come clean my air ducts , someone cam out and looked at only one of my air ducts just one, with that he said they weren’t dirty he should of looked at all of them , then he proceeded to tell me if I wanted to clean my air ducts I need to schedule again because he didn’t have the equipment ,so what did he come out for ? Then he said but I can offer you a disinfectant clean for your system for 300!! ? Witch they use IN-cide disinfectant that cost $9 bucks at Home Depot I could have done that ! Well it didn’t help my family still have stuffed nose I should have just clean the air ducts but of course the guy that came out said let’s try this first and then we can clean the air ducts after just to get more money out of us !!! On their web site it says $35-75 for deep cleaning the air ducts the guy that came out said 79 for mine how did he determined that my where $79 like really no explanation what so ever ? My house is a small mobile home with 12 vents .

We hired Duct X to clean our air vents for the first time ever on a house built in 1980’s. This was a big job overall.. The tech, Ernesto arrived on time, was so friendly and informative and gave a very fair quote for the work to be done. After we accepted the quote they were able to complete the job the same day!! This was incredible as we have kids and it’s impossible to schedule housework to get done! Samuel was extremely helpful when it came to breaking down the quote and work to be done. Their team did a full cleaning and also included some preventative maintenance. I would highly recommend this company!!

Duct X did a tremendous job on cleaning my dryer vent. First of all, Sam was very flexible when I had to change my time slot for my appointment the day before. He quickly agreed to the new time slot and showed up exactly on time. He provided a quick call ahead of time to let me know of his pending arrival. Sam did a thorough inspection of the dryer vent duct to assess the level of required cleaning. He went into the attic to check the dryer venting system. He was extremely engaged in his work. He used a stiff brushing tool to help clean the duct. He also used a traditional shop vac to further clean the inside of the duct. He did a thorough job. He also was kind enough to thoroughly vacuum the whole work area to clear it of any lint. He was extremely personable and communicative. Will definitely use him again for future services!!!

We had a different company out twice to clean our dryer vent, and they couldn't figure out what was tripping our dryer's heat sensor. DuctX had the equipment and expertise to actually diagnose and solve the problem. They were able to show me what was wrong & how they fixed it, and prove that hot air was making it through the system. We'll definitely use them for future dryer vent cleanings and air duct cleanings!

Sam just left my house after doing a tremendous job in cleaning my dryer vent. He thoroughly cleaned the vent and replaced the connector from the dryer to the vent. Sam called to let me know they were running late from an earlier job and then called back when they were on their way to my house. Sam is professional and personable. They checked the temperature of my dryer after cleaning. It was 120 degrees. Great for my 16 year old dryer.

Duct X took care of my fireplace and venting issues. I have neglected to keep up maintenance of my fireplace, even though I use it every winter. Lately with Austin weather being so cold I was lighting a fire and had to open the windows due to the smoke inside my house. I called Duct X and the fixed the problem for me. The service guys were professional and friendly and explained everything to me that had to be done. The price seemed reasonable considering the situation.

I got a text confirmation of the appointment, the guys called when on the way, he walked me through all aspects of the inspection and eventual repairs, and was able to make all of the repairs within a few hours. I called Duct X Austin after reading their great reviews on Yelp. I needed to have the downdraft duct cleaned out after a possum had made a nest in the duct. Johnny Daniel came out to clean and disinfect the duct when he found another possum burrowed further into the vent. After the possum left, Johnny and Asaph came back to finish cleaning and disinfecting the vent. Everyone from Sam at the office to Johnny and Asaph were so professional, and kept me well informed throughout the entire process. Johnny especially made sure the job was done thoroughly, and I couldn't have asked for a better service. Duct X will definitely be my go-to for any future cleaning.

I hadgas logs installed but couldn't use them because my chimney had debris in it. I decided to check with Duct-x and called to leave a message on Sunday evening, but Johnny answered my call and we made an appointment for the next day. He came on time and was very thorough with his inspection. We made a plan, he ordered the parts and was ready to do the work within a week. Today he came and made the repairs.
