I bought an old house in Austin and after few weeks moved in I realizes it was quite a bit hot upstairs. I did researches about insulate the attic. Cooler Green were fantastic to work with. They came in with a reasonable, clear, and well explained quote that I went with after getting 5 separate quotes for a new AC installation and Spray Foam insulation. What a great company. Travis is very easy to deal with. Explaining all prices and procedures. We needed a few extra things a new furnace and he was able to make that happen as well in the week that all the work was being done. Travis and his guys did a fantastic job spraying foam in our marina's fire pump room. This is a very unique job where the spray foam trailer had to park on the lake bed and the hose had to be run across the water, but all the guys had great attitudes and were extremely professional. The room is full of expensive equipment and the guys meticulously taped and masked off everything to create a very tidy final product.

Cooler Green Solutions - what can I say??? I don’t always leave a review, but when I do… it is because they DESERVE IT! Travis and his crew at Cooler Green Solutions provided a fantastic and timely spray foam retrofit service on our late 90’s home that has been fully remodeled/updated over the last few years with a 3 car garage converted into a side entryway, mudroom, and large master ensuite. We added just at 1k sq.ft. to the house. As a result of the added square footage, we needed a new A/C system installed. Even with the new, variable unit and zoned system, these extreme summers and winters have made it hard for the system to keep up with the demand. Within a few days (during a rain storm), CGS came in and removed all the old blow-in insulation, identified some roof leaks (of which, Travis called in a favor from a contact of his to be there in 2 days when we got a break in the rain to remove 4 mushroom air vents and fix the roof leaks prior to spray foaming those sections), re-decked and shingled those areas to fix the leaks (can’t even tell there was ever anything there now - THIS WAS ABOVE AND BEYOND the scope of the job and we are very thankful as we would not have known there was an issue until it was too late and other damage had been done), and then they finished all the spray-foam insulation. All within a week! It was AMAZING! On top of all of that, the CGS crew works CLEAN!!! My wife really appreciated that!!! They covered everything and prepped the areas prior to starting work and cleaned up each day before leaving. You barely knew anyone was there. No disruption to our day-to-day lives with 2 toddlers running around and us working from home! All that said to say that I would use Cooler Green Solutions again and refer them to anyone I know needing/wanting spray foam insulation! They are consummate professionals! Prior to the job, Travis took the time to educate me on the materials he uses and why. He gave honest recommendations of what I should or shouldn’t do after the job was complete. Cooler Green Solutions fixed some spray foam insulation on a house that we bought recently. The original insulation of the house was a bit of a mess (soffits and other vents weren't sprayed and left open, leftover of prior blown-in insulation in the attic floor, ventilation pipes not sprayed in properly etc.). I talked with a few local insulation companies and the owner Travis seemed to be the most knowledgable about spray foam. Overall, I'm happy with the results and the quality of the job is great from what I can tell. They offered some discount after the job was done since it was less work than they expected which was a nice gesture as well. It was the most expensive quote we've received by far though (50%+ more expensive than others). That being said, I would happily call them again or refer them to friends because the quality you get for it is worth it.

Travis is a stand-up guy who works with the homeowner to understand the need and give the essential details the proper attention. He goes above and beyond to ensure the correct thing is done and does not try to sell any unwarranted service. He went beyond the standard duties to ensure we were cared for properly.

I cannot say enough about Travis and his team. I had them come out in January 2023 to add their spray foam solution to my attic and remove the old insulation and couldn't be happier. I have a 1.5 story house and prior to the foam the upstairs room was getting to be around 95 in the summer afternoons, i cant imagine what the actual attic felt like other than HOT!!! Now with the upstairs room tied into the same AC flow as the downstairs I never see temperatures get higher than +5 degrees from downstairs. Also the attic peaks at 82-84 degrees all summer even with the temps outside being well over 100. Have I seen a saving in my electric bill? you bet I have, would I do this over again? I sure would. Would I call Travis to get the job done right, in a timely manner and professionally? Hands down I would. I wouldn't recommend anyone else but Travis and Cooler Green Solutions to make your home more comfortable and efficient.

We had an issue that caused our garage and the rooms above it to get much warmer that anywhere else in the house (there was a metal roof above it). I called Travis and provided him the location, details, and dimensions and he quickly provided me a quote that was reasonable. We worked together to set up a date and time and his guys came out and spray-foamed the roof above the garage and now the garage is significantly cooler and the rooms above are now at the same temperatures as the rest of the house. CoolerGreen is very professional and easy to work and they provide great results -- I highly recommend them.

Cooler Green Solutions blew foam insulation into my garage attic. The garage is oriented to direct western sun in the summer and gets very hot. Neighbors across the street had this done and say that it reduces the temp in the garage significantly. Travis and Cooler Green were very responsive to my request and performed the job very quickly. From the first contact with Cooler Green Solutions to after job completion, Travis was accommodating and communicated promptly. We had a 1500 sq ft metal outbuilding insulated with open cell spray foam. The day after the job was completed we were inside the building and realized how much cooler it was inside versus outside, and how well the spray foam dampened loud sounds. This was our first experience with spray foam insulation so we had lots of questions and Travis never hesitated to answer them and was always very timely, giving us lots of information about history and current practices of spray foam. When we asked to see previous work, he arranged for us to see a job the company just completed so we could have a better understanding of what to expect! On the day of the job Travis arrived with the members of the spray foam team and went over all the details of the job with us again. The members of the spray foam team were courteous and professional. They kept and left a clean job site. They were very organized. During the spraying process they took all safety precautions we read about during our research.They covered all windows and mechanicals before spraying. Since we are going to cover the concrete foundation with flooring, they didn't put down plastic to protect the concrete--we discussed this beforehand and were aware that some staining might occur from spray foam droplets when spraying the roof/ceiling. However, the concrete was almost spotless (they really took great care to keep things as neat and clean as possible during the whole process). Because it was our first experience with spray foam insulation, we had an outside service do an inspection. The inspector commented "they did a really good job" and that you could tell "they knew what they were doing." Even after the job was completed, Travis responded quickly to an inquiry we had regarding drywall installation (not part of the scope of job, and he didn't need to take time out of his day to answer, but he did!). We are happy with the work and lucky to have found Cooler Green Solutions. From beginning to end our job was handled with professionalism. We would definitely use this company again and would definitely recommend them.

Our Cooler Green Solutions attic spray foam insulation has now been through summer heat and winter cold and I’m certain we’ve seen a big improvement in our heating and cooling costs. As a 1999 era house the insulation was far from ideal. Now instead of having an oven or an icebox over our heads we have a tightly sealed well insulated space. We’re really pleased, and the guys managed to remove the old attic floor insulation and install the new foam insulation and leave hardly a trace that they’d even been through the house.

Travis and his team did a fantastic foam installation job on our cathedral ceiling upstairs. Prior to the foam install, the temperature differential between the outside roof and the sheetrock upstairs was around 10 degrees cooler inside. After the foam install, we're seeing the differential closer to 40 degrees cooler inside. The end result is a much cooler upstairs.

Our upstairs used to be 8-10 degrees warmer than the first story and now the whole house is the same cool temp and we’re even keeping the thermostat 1-2 degrees higher than we used to. Travis is really awesome - friendly and professional. We called because we wanted to have the crawlspace of our pier and beam home dealt with. Most of the fiberglass insulation was hanging down, a consequence of time and of rats and possums who liked to nest in it. Crawlspaces are generally pretty unappealing places as it is, but with all the hanging down insulation, it made it really hard and even more disgusting to try to deal with any plumbing issues or dead animals. Also, our house was having some high humidity issues that maybe would be helped by having better insulation. Travis wasn't sure they would be able to do the job initially, because the access was so tight, so he had his crew (Joe and Paulo) come over the next day to see if it would be possible. They said yes, so it got scheduled. Removal of the old insulation and chicken wire was quick (2-days ~ 1400 sq ft home) and they didn't find any problems we needed to deal with, like plumbing, so they started the installation of the closed cell spray foam the following day. Installation was another couple of days, and it was a little stinky at times (like off-gassing smells), but it faded quickly. Joe and Paulo were awesome - really friendly and independent. They also figured out where the critters had been getting in, so they closed up that entrance point. So, now we have a much more accessible (to humans!) crawlspace with (hopefully) no critter access and no enticing critter bedding. Our humidity levels in the house are a little lower too, and we'll probably notice more benefits in the colder months. In sum - Travis and his crew are fantastic professionals and I definitely recommend working with him for any spray foam insulation projects!

We needed to insulate several interior walls in ours so I reached out to several companies including Cooler Green Solutions. Travis came by the day after contacting him and looked the job over personally. The other companies asked for measurements and then provided costs with out ever actually looking at the job. I received a quote quickly to my email from Travis after his inspection and set a schedule. They followed the schedule to a T and did a great job for a good price (not the inflated Austin pricing that many contractors are doing now).

About a year ago we moved into a new house (new to us). The insulation was poor and the home had a really hard time staying comfortable upstairs. We had two very adequate 5 ton units in the attic trying like crazy to keep the place cool but there was very little insulation in the attic due to a poor remodel at some point. Travis came out to give us a bid and make a plan. He decided to create a “room” around the hvac using studs and tyvek style sheeting wrapped around the studs. The foam would be sprayed on the sheeting to create a rigid insulated space around the hvac equipment. He then had his crew spray the entire attic. They got into spaces that were so small other companies said they couldn’t reach. The crew of two guys doing the work were as nice a bunch of workers I’ve ever seen and they worked their tails off in my attic in July. It took about 4 days and the improvement was dramatic. I can’t recommend spray foam highly enough nor can I recommend Travis and his crew highly enough. I think it also helped that Travis came from the HVAC trade and is still licensed. Point being: Travis understands the mechanics of how to cool a house as well as the importance of proper insulation. Here is one tip: if you are considering getting this work done do so now—he books out quite a bit in advance and it’s only getting warmer outside. His guys were great and I know they took good care of us and we, in turn, took good care of them (we fed them a couple times and offered a large tip when the job was done—they refused but I made sure they left with a couple hundred because I liked and respected them so much).

Joe and Paulo did a great job on my attic retrofit. They had it cleaned out in 2.5 days, then cleared out to allow another contractor to have a couple days to add some plywood to the attic floor, then came back to spray. Joe was very willing to discuss the work with me before they began each day. The work turned out nicely. Recommend them for spray foam installations!

Travis and his people showed up promptly and were very professional in explaining what they were doing, how the coverage was going to go and were super expedient in getting it done. Travis (the owner) took care of me. He came out to my home to assess the project, take measurements, and give me an estimate. Travis is friendly and approachable, and he talked me through the process, the product, the cost, and what I could expect, all the while patiently answering my zillions of questions, both in person and through text. Once the team came out, everything went as he had described; the crew chatted with me, let me come watch as they worked, and genuinely seemed to enjoy the job they were doing. As for the effects of the insulation, I could feel the effects immediately. My house is two stories, and with no insulation under the sub-floor of the first story, it was often 15 to 20 degrees lower downstairs than upstairs (=COLD!!). The day the insulation was installed, that switched: the downstairs floor is now significantly and constantly warmer than the second floor. My heater is running measurably less often to keep the house warm (as per my smart-thermostat's calculations). I'm so glad I went through with getting spray foam insulation! Concerns I had before were: 1) I feared the insulation would leave a strong lasting chemical smell. It did not! During installation, I could definitely smell the product through the floor, but within an hour of them finishing the project, I smelled nothing. 2) I was concerned that the installers wouldn't be able to work around the hornets nest of pipes and wires in my basement. They did so just fine and were able to get into the smallest cracks and crevices (see photo). Overall, I'm happy with the company and their work, and I recommend them to others hands down.

If you're looking for quality workmanship at a reasonable cost, then I would recommend Travis and his team at Cooler Green Solutions. Travis and his team were extremely professional in their work and interaction. They left the house relatively as they found it without making any noticeable mess and the quality of the material that they use is apparent in the little to no off-gassing from the spray foam. I can already feel a difference with the foam in place vs the blown in insulation that my home builder put in. There are definitely horror stories about spray foam insulation and the noxious fumes that come with them, but I can stay without a doubt that the material that Cooler Green Solution uses is top-notch and the off-gassing is minimal. I would highly recommend this company for anyone wanting to have this type of work done.

I recently hired Cooler Green Solutions to remove our old blown in insulation and install a spray foam insulation in our attic. Travis and his team were great to work with, and we could instantly tell the difference in our house. The work was done in a 100 plus degree weather week, and our AC had constantly been running through the night. The evening of the day they finished was the first night our AC was able to keep up and shut off every now and then. Very pleased and money well spent.

I hired Cooler Green for a small insulation job. Travis was trustworthy, easy to work with and a very responsive communicator. I was out of town for the installation and I felt comfortable with Travis’ team letting themselves into my home while I was gone. Fantastic company! I was quite hesitant at first to use spray foam because of the cost. When I researched the average costs for open cell insulation and the coverage I needed, I was convinced it was too expensive. On a whim I left a message with Travis. He called back minutes later and he was at my house later that day. He spent quite a while answering every single question I had. The next day I had a formal quote with all manufacturer information and copies of his insurance. The price was a lot lower than I was expecting, and it included removing all of the existing blown-in cellulose insulation. A few weeks later Travis and his crew completed the job in 4.5 days. Everyone was super professional and the work was superb. Every single area where there is spray foam is thick enough to cover all wood structure -there is zero thermal bridging in the attic. This is quite important, and not all installers do this. If I ever need insulation work done in the future, I am going right back to this company. There's no doubt in my mind that they are one of the best.

I had the fiberglass in my attic removed and had Cooler Green foam the decking under my roof. Not only did I add 1900 square feet of air conditioned storage space to my home, but my electric bill dropped dramatically. Now that I have had a chance to measure the summer months, I have found that with less AC run time, I can keep my house 8 degrees cooler. In fact, before foaming, my AC couldn’t get my home below 80 degrees on a +100 degree day and now I can easily keep it at 76 or lower with little effort on the AC unit. Here’s the lates (June) report I got from my smart thermostat manufacturer. June Trends Heating 0% Cooling 12% ↓ In June, your heating did not run. It did not run last year, either. Your cooling ran 12% less. Overall, your system ran 12% less this month than last year. On average, temperatures in your area were 2° F hotter than last year. I haven’t run the calculations, but with this sort of savings, the upgrade should pay for itself in not so many years. Fast and professional. Travis's team removed 70 years of insulation, carpet, etc. New insulation works great. AC was out a week and house was 86°F on 98°F day. AC working again and runs less often. Highly recommend Cooler Green Solutions.

I have a bedroom above the garage that has 2 walls exposed to the garage attic. This bedroom was usually 5-8 degrees hotter than the rest of the house in the summer. Likewise, in the winter it was much colder. Travis from Cooler Green Solutions recommended spray foam for my garage attic and ceiling of garage (the area below the 2nd floor bedroom). As a bonus, I was able to save some money by taking the garage ceiling drywall down myself. I removed everything stored in the garage attic and pulled down the garage drywall. Travis' crew was on time and professional. They masked off the area well to prevent over spray and cleaned up after themselves. The depth of foam on the attic and garage ceiling was at least the amount quoted, and look deeper in most areas. The work was done in April, so I wanted to wait to review until some hot weather arrived to judge the impact spray foam had on the bedroom temperature. I'm extremely happy with the result. I was really worried about all the mess that would occur, but his crew made sure to line the floors with sheets and made sure the bathroom where they entered the attic was protected. Doing a home remodel? HIRE COOLER GREEN SOLUTIONS!!! After getting multiple estimates from a few companies, I hired Travis with Cooler Green Solutions for our spray foam insulation needs. He discussed the process from prep time, to completion with me and stuck to his estimate. The job was completed on time and his crew were all professionals around me, my family and the work space. After several months now of the spray foam being 'in-service' we noticed that the house was NOT using the A/C and heater as often. Our bills for electric are way down. I knew this was going to be cost effective overtime, but payback should be within 3-4 years from electric bills alone. On the plus side, we also now have better sound barriers from the outside of the house. We can no longer hear traffic outside on our busy street. I got my house spray foamed by Travis and his team. He broke down the process of how everything worked and explained the pros and cons better then any other of the companies I had come look. Very honest and knowledgeable of what he does. He used icynene classic max on our house which from my research was what I wanted do to it being the most environment friendly product on the market. My first hand experience of this company was they parked their trailer in front of my house for 2 weeks. I asked the young man to please move it in front of the job site ( neighbors house) as it was going on three weeks. He was very rude and refused. Very unprofessional company who is very understaffed. Took about 3-4 weeks to do a 2 story 3700 sqft home. BUYER BEWARE ! 90% of all GREEN companies aren't green. Get five estimates.This is nice window dressing to make you feel you are doing the right thing for the environment while taking advantage of your good conscious. My brothers 11,000 sqft was done in 4 days.
