We received exceptional service and a top notch roof replacement from James. Couldn’t be more satisfied.

Very helpful working with our insurance company in establishing a reasonable budget. Construction was on time and they did a great job of cleaning the area post construction. They communicated minor delays with specialty items like the chimney cap and matching roof vents. They exceeded expectations and we were very pleased overall .

I strongly caution anyone considering ClearChoiceRoofing. After a hailstorm, I reached out for an estimate and spoke with a representative named James. I told him multiple times that I could not move forward unless most, if not all, of my deductible was waived, because I didn’t have the funds to pay it. James repeatedly assured me that he would waive most, if not all, of the deductible, leaving me responsible for only a few hundred dollars. Based on those assurances, I agreed to have the work done. After the project was completed, the company went back on their word and demanded the full $3,600 deductible. The verbal promises I relied on were false, and now I am left paying far more than I was told. This experience feels deceptive and unprofessional. Do not trust verbal assurances—make sure everything is documented in writing. They are now attempting to increase the amount owed, even though we previously agreed on a total of $3,000 even, nothing more, which I accepted based on their assurances

We spent $20k on our roof from this company and it was supposed to have a warranty. We've experienced leaks after the install and initially they addressed them promptly. They are under new ownership from what I gather and during the recent July4th rains another leak was revealed. We called them, a tech came out (Mike) and that was 6 weeks ago. I phoned the tech a week ago and haven't heard back. I will keep a posting of this situation as in some cases, some roofing companies have a tendency for no longevity or frequent ownership or name changes. I certainly hope this is not the case as they installed a good deal of flat roofing on our house.

They made the assessment I requested and came back the next day to fix the problem areas. They were incredibly honest,professional, and punctual. It has rained since they fixed the roof and we have not experienced any more leaks. I will definitely use them in the future.

We hired this company to replace a couple of shingles and perform a full roof inspection required for the sale of our home. The roofer, Russell, quoted us and said it would be done in 1–2 days. I clearly stated multiple times that we needed the inspection and documented proof for our sale contingency. After initial contact, he stopped responding to my calls and texts for 3-4 days. I called the office multiple times and kept getting the runaround. I didn’t have time to hire someone else due to our tight deadline, otherwise I would have. When the job was finally completed, they sent an invoice for more than what was quoted. On top of that, there was no mention of the inspection -even though I had been very clear from the beginning. The office adjusted the price after I pushed back, but still failed to include the inspection report. After several more calls, they eventually updated the invoice correctly. This should have been a simple job. It turned into a frustrating and time-consuming experience. I don’t recommend this company. I’m easy to work with and was willing to let it go at the time, but now that they’ve asked for a review, here it is. I'll give them 2 stars considering the final price was good and they got the job done finally.

After a severe thunderstorm, Choice Roofing came out same day yo tarp my roof so I wouldn't get leak damage and then came back a few days later and replaced lost and damaged shingles with matching shingles for a reasonable cost. Thank you Choice Roifing. Mark from Austin

We had a roof damage from storms in East Austin - just a few shingles blown off. Clear Choice responded to my query promptly and were able to quote me within a couple hours, and schedule someone for the repair within a couple days. We had a leak and needed it to be fixed asap. James responded quickly and assessed our roof. He found the problem immediately after getting on the roof. We needed a specific piece so they had to come back to fix it at a later date. I’m glad to report that we just had our first rain and the leak is gone. 100% would use Clear Choice Roofing again.

Clear Choice responded quickly to my inquiry, and scheduled an evaluation. After reviewing my leak, Matt provided his assessment and recommendation for fixing it. They texted me a few days later with a small window of time for their arrival to fix the issue. We waited hours past that time and eventually called them to find out when they would be coming. They gave a new window of time and said they would call prior to arrival. That did not happen and after repeated attempts to contact them via email after I received an invoice for the work were unanswered I called again and was told they would return my call. My call was not returned and I had to contact them again to get any answers. I can’t attest to the quality of their work as I still have a leak, but the communication issues alone will prevent me from ever using or recommending them.

I had a few missing shingles from storms over the prior 6 months. Other than the missing shingles my roof is 12 years old and in good shape. No hail bigger than pea size has ever occurred. I called a few roofing companies and they all, except one, really pushed for an entire roof job. The job they did on my roof was punctual, quality work at a fair price. This was what they termed a roof “tune up”, which is exactly what I was needing. I am a happy customer.

The Evaluator was on s hedule, all business but still time to 'love" my dogs. Prompt (within 2 hrs) estimate. Roofers on time, got right to work, made a hardware trip to replace broken item (at no added cost!), all business & showed me before/after conditions. Very high recommendation!

We called after noticing a small leak on the ceiling. Our roof is 23 years old and I was dreading the "you need a new roof" diagnosis. They came out and I expressed my concern about age and they immediately said that likely wasn't an issue. They said it could be something localized, which was a small $300 repair but that it could also be due to solar panels installed close by. They sent a tech out to make the repair and it ended up being the solar panels. The tech inspected the roof while he was up there, said the roof was old but still rocking it. No charge for their two visits. They could have easily said we needed a new roof, but in the end, they came out twice, alleviated a concern, diagnosed the real problem, and made a recommendation. They'll be my first call again when we do need a roof.

Found Clear Choice on Google and want to make sure others can do the same. After already being impressed with their quality of work, timliness, and attention to detail, I watched my neighbor struggle with his roofing company after a recent hail storm. The neighbors roofing company left nails and debris in both our our yards. Clear choice not only was fast but cleaned up every small piece of shingle and every nail from the yard after their speedy job. They finished my small home in a single day with a group of workers. This was also amazing because as you can imagine the job can be quite loud. Would highly recommend them to any friend in the future.

I can't remember whether I have or have not previously reviewed Clear Choice Roofing, but either way, I will now. They were really excellent, a while back (eventually after the March 2021 Austin hail), mainly because they had one owner and two supervisors on-site all of whom were extremely courteous and attentive to the effect of their work on our apartment tenants. Roofing is intrinsically noisy and disruptive for residents, and they're well aware of that, so they took great care to assuage any and all concerns. Plus they did the roofing efficiently, to get it over with ASAP. I've been here for 42 years. They were by far the best contractors, from a tenant respect and tenant communication standpoint, for any contracting work that's been done at our apartments during that time.

Clear Choice Roofing did a roof replacement for me in Leander and the overall experience was great. Clear Choice team is highly professional and responsive. My first experience with Clear Choice roofing was with a roof leak, which was professionally and quickly repaired and completely matched the rest of the roof! Based on this positive experience with Clear Choice Roofing, I needed to replace the roof vent caps as they were made of plastic and were starting to fail. James and his team were absolutely amazing at replacing our roof and gutters after a recent hail storm damaged both. From the start, James told us what to expect from the process, helped with working with the insurance company, and kept things moving and on schedule. Also, he was easy to reach whenever I had a question about something. As for the new roof and gutters themselves? The installation went smoothly, and the roof and gutters we got are great and frankly significantly better than what we had before the storm. The gutter installation team even fixed a small bit of siding that had popped loose a little while back for no additional charge. Thank you James and Clear Choice Roofing for all the help and excellent service. If you folks ever get into other lines of home maintenance and repair work let me know; I wish I could do everything through your company!

The CC team is phenomenal. We had a large cedar elm drop limbs during Austin 'ice age of 2023', causing major damage to two spots in our roof. James spec'd exactly what we needed, including new gutters and a ridge vent and came in at budget with our insurance company and was all done in one day. Five months after the installation we had an issue with some rodent friends getting into sections of the ridge vent where the material failed. I called and within a day I had Carrie and her team onsite to not only replace the failed material but install additional material to mitigate the problem from happening again. This team is professional, timely, intuitive and bring years of roofing AND related experience directly to the customer, something I didn't expect from a roofing company. I would definitely recommend them and would use them in the future before anyone else.

I chose clear choice for our roof replacement because they were literally the clear choice. We had multiple companies come out that took days to get back to me with bids and could not get us on the schedule for a month or more. Drew from Clear Choice had a bid for me within a day, and got us on the schedule quickly. The communication with Drew and Danielle was excellent through the entire process, and the final product turned out great.

Had a leak. Sheet rock was staining on the ceiling. They came out in the rain and climb onto the roof. Found a area of interest. Help me with a tarp and schedule a crew to come and take the area apart to find what was leaking. Staples not all the way down. Made a hole in the shingles. Don't know why they don't inspect mobile homes before they leave a factory.

Jeremy and his crew did a fantastic job replacing my roof after hail damage. The estimate was extremely close to the final cost. They removed old satellite dishes from the roof and replaced my gutters. The job was done so quickly. I would 100% recommend Clear Choice Roofing to anyone. Clear Choice Roofing has done an excellent job on our re-roofing. Ours is a somewhat complicated job as there is a large flat top, which required application of TPO material in addition to the standard shingles. We also have two dead valleys for which the installers manufactured custom large sheet metal valleys so debris would flush off automatically. Mike, job superintendent, suggested an Attic Breeze solar powered vent that works very well. All work was done as agreed and great care used to clean up after the work was finished. Clear Choice worked fully with my insurance company to obtain accurate payment for the completed job. The owner made a specific trip to inspect work done, which I understand is standard procedure, and all employees with whom I came in contact were knowledgeable, courteous and pleasant.

These guys are amazing. I had been making self repairs since the big freeze until the roof finally broke in over my dining area. They came the next day after I called and inspected the entire roof and put a tarp over any suspect area's to keep out further rain. Due to my roofs age I didn't think insurance would cover much but Mike came out when the insurance inspector arrived and walked her through everything he had found. They offered me a range of products for my roof and the prices were very much the same as the competition but, they didn't try to charge extra for wood or other materials (loved that). I went ahead and upgraded my roof as long as I was getting a new one and I couldn't be happier. This has been a pretty hot summer and my house is cooler than it has ever been (they told me this type of roof would save on cooling bills but I can't believe the difference). I highly, highly recommend Clear Choice. These are good folks who know what they are doing and strive to do good work. My kind of folks.

Last year, hail demolished my roof. When doing my research for replacement Clear Choice kept coming up as a highly rated and trusted company. I can confidently say those reviews were right. Clear Choice worked closely with my insurance so I had almost nothing to do, the roof is impeccably done and they even upgraded my house to accommodate new building codes. The people are all very friendly as well which is the cherry on top. As long as I live in the Austin area, Clear Choice will be my roofing company.

I would recommending Clear Choice to do your roof inspection and repairs. Their staff are very professional, and they do what they say they will do. Talk about fast. It took only one day to do the roof replacement which included the removing of the old shingles on my 2000 sq ft home.

We are so fortunate to have found Clear Choice! After the hail storms in 2016, we had another roofer replace our roof - one of those that come knocking at your door. We thought we had been diligent in hiring them but after the installation, it was clear that they didn't know what they were doing and had misled us about their status. We had an Owens Corning shingle installed on our roof and to receive the extended warranty the roofer must be an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor - which is what Clear Choice is (and what the other guy lied about). Clear Choice and a representative from Owens Corning came and performed an inspection of the newly installed roof and verified and documented our concerns. Clear Choice then removed the improperly installed roof and installed the Owens Corning shingles as required. The worked with us to customize our roof and add metal roofing to the porch and overhang, upgrading our home. They did an excellent job, were clear and responsive in their communication and stellar in their clean up. We've had a few issues since due to high winds or storms and Clear Choice is prompt and professional in their response! Clear Choice is our only call for our roofing needs and we highly recommend them!

I have had two experiences with Clear Choice Roofing, and both have been outstanding. I needed some flashing work done around my chimney the first time, and they did a great job for a very fair price. I was provided before/after pictures which was quite helpful. With my high roof and slope of it, I wouldn't have been able to tell whether the work was done right or not without the pictures. Needing another minor repair, I definitely called Clear Choice back again. They were out within a few days, and were able to resolve my issue quickly. During this second visit, I also had them give me an overall roof assessment. They said it looked good, and would last for several more years. From my personal experiences, I appreciate the quality of their work, their timeliness, their value and their honesty.

It's a roofer's market in Austin right now after the winter weather and hail we've had this year. Clear Choice will ghost you and not return calls if there's any doubt that your insurance company will pay out for a new roof. I get it, there's easier money to be made on clear cut total roof replacements. But they won't tell you that and will instead let you figure it out on your own. They were very helpful and responsive before it became clear that the insurance company was going to dispute their original assessment.

We had Clear Choice replace our roof after the hail storm in April. They were very helpful, responsive to our questions, and helped us to work with our insurance. Overall we were very satisfied with their work.

They were very friendly. I had called them to replace 3 shingles so my Home Insurance could be renewed. I went on the roof as they were doing inspection and they found other items that needed attention which was good that they did. It took them about 30 minutes to complete everything and pricing I believe to be very good and honest. I would recommend them to anyone.

I have used Clear Choice Roofing before for a previous house I lived in and for my current house when we first bought it. They have always been very professional and they do great work. Danielle made every part of the process so much easier from scheduling supplies for the job, to the color of the shingles, scheduling for the job to be done, and sending me the invoice for my insurance company. This company is so awesome!! I had a leak from my roof in my attic from recent storms. . Called several roofers they were all nice. But Clear Choice Rooding spotted things that other roofers didn't see. . We knew it was going to rain.again And our appt to get my roof repair the following week. They called and ask us if we like they can fix the roof that same day they called to avoid more water leak from the rain that was coming. I truly recommend them.

They were able to inspect my roof leak same day I called & make the needed repairs the very next day. I had another roofer give me a bid but they were over $100 more expensive for the same work. I would like to share my experience I had with Peter Svehla and Clear Choice Roofing. I'd like to start off by saying I was really not looking forward to in dealing with the whole roofing process. After multiple proposal, I chose Clear Choice. Peter's honesty and straight forward communication was a breath of fresh air. You could really tell he loves what he does for a living. The installation surpassed expectations and I really enjoy the look of my new roof.

At least I can depend on Clear Choice Roofing to fix it (though I doubt there will be any future issues- they fixed the leak that surfaced, and the damage from tree overhang). Pleased with the work, and the price.

I chose Clear Choice Roofing to replace my hail damaged roof mainly because they are local company with lots of experience. I didn't want any of the fly-by-night guys. Clear Choice has been around for long time. They have the top rating with Corning, an excellent warranty, a fantastic reputation and they operate with the utmost integrity. Mike did a great job for us. He was very knowledgable, easy to work with, and involved in the job from start to finish. They completed the roofing quickly and also took care of some damage from squirrels. I rest well knowing that I have a top quality roof backed by an excellent company. Clear Choice did an awesome job with our roof replacement. Daniel came out for the initial visit and assured me they would take care of everything and make sure they communicated with the insurance company and adjustor. I would definitely recommend Clear Choice. We have a large one story with numerous ridges. We selected the signature lifetime roof with the ridge caps and it looks amazing! In our case, extra bundles of shingles were needed. When it came time to pay them, the estimate number was what we paid. Working with Clear Choice Roofing was awesome. My estimate contact was Mike, and he answered emails and texts at all times of the day or night, even though I never needed him to. He was concerned about service and they matched another company's pre-steel-tariff estimate after the tariffs were in place. They also assured me they knew how money would work through the insurance and mortgage companies before I even asked. They worked with me on my schedule, starting exactly when they said, and finishing at their earliest estimate. They even worked with my plumber to make sure some venting repairs could happen while the roof was being redone. And I have a beautiful copper colored metal roof now. Yay! Unexpectedly, both their bank and my bank changed their policies about three-party checks AND my insurance company dropped the ball twice on getting my claim money to me (apparently an employee left the insurance company and didn't poss their work off). Throughout all this, Clear Choice was polite and considerate about payment. Eventually, I had to meet Carrie at my bank to get the check deposited so I could pay them. It was messy, but they were always professional about it. If there was any thing I wish they'd done that they didn't do was to let me know that I'd be picking up bits of roof detritus for a while out of my yard. My father-in-law's roofing company in another town told him, "we're going to do our best to clean up everything, but you'll probably be picking up pieces that we missed for a while." That's been the case in my yard for sure, but it's just small bits of plastic and roof tile that I happen to see.

He took pictures of my roof to show me as he explained what he had found. He sealed some placed and fixed some loose shingles. I paid the quoted price for this service. He also gave me an estimate as to how long my present roof will last under normal conditions. I found this extremely helpful. Came by when he said he would, inspected my roof, advised what needed to be done, and how much it would cost. I agreed to the price and work and he and team returned later that day to make needed repairs. Gavin is extremely professional, prompt & was able to answer all my questions thoroughly. My husband and I were very thankful for Gavin at clear choice roofing. He was flexible in setting up an appointment time, and was very friendly and professional. He came to conduct a free inspection on our leaky roof after the hurricane storms. He was very honest and said that it didn't seem like we had any breaks in the roof needing repair or replacement, explaining that our previous leak was likely due to the sudden accumulation of rainfall in one area. He performed some general maintenance on the area (hammering down shingles, applying sealant, etc) to prevent any future leaks and also made some great recommendations. I could not recommend Clear Choice Roofing more. Not only were they WAY cheaper than the other two companies I received quotes from (as in half the cost!), but they were very prompt in sending someone out to give me an estimate. Once I scheduled the repair (we had two holes were the decking had rotted on the roof over our entryway), the crew showed up on time and were in and out in under 2 hours. I was dreading getting our roof fixed because I assumed it would be a costly, annoying process but Clear Choice Roofing proved me wrong on all counts. I will definitely be using them again if any other issues with our roof arise.
