We have a 20 year old builder home and my perspective was that the insulation was not sufficient. After listening to my concerns and goals, it turns out it was more correcting some fast and dirty building short cuts, and closing some gaps in the attic that was allowing too much exterior air to penetrate. I appreciated the factual and non-upsell evaluation, which included photos and clear explanations. The communication, scheduling and execution were all really solid. I also felt the value of the work was competitive after getting other estimates.

We had 316 Insulation clean and re-insulate the crawl space in my home. We chose to clean and re-insulate because of repeated rodent infestations over the years. I was impressed by the work that was completed. The crawl space access is inside the house, so plastic was run between the door and the crawl space access while they were working. They removed all of the old insulation and ground cover, sealed potential access points where rodents might enter, then new insulation. Home seems much warmer in the mornings. I thought Kaleb and team did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend 316 Insulation to anyone looking for a good, honest company who do a great job at a reasonable price

Very impressed with this company! We had them install insulation in both the attic and crawlspace. Travis came out to give the estimate and was professional and thorough and put extra work into trying to find as many PSE rebates as possible. Once we chose them, the office lady worked with me on getting a date reserved and even timing it so we could get both crews out at once and efficiently. The first men that arrived, Andrew and Victor, were timely (even a few minutes early!). They both were kind and introduced themselves to both me and my kids (my kids love to meet workers and find out what they’re doing). They were very thorough with covering our floor and furniture with plastic to keep things clean while they worked. Andrew, Victor, Shane, Mike and all of the crew worked hard and efficiently. The attic crew was finished pretty quickly. I can’t remember what time they arrived, but they were able to be wrapped and cleaned up by around 2p. At the end of the day, Andrew talked through with us what they accomplished and found in our crawlspace. The crawlspace crew came a little after 8 and left a little before 6 or so, I believe. And they only had a few finishing touches for the next day. The gentleman (introduced himself but I’m spacing on the name) that came the next day also worked hard and was very kind to my inquisitive kids. It was wonderful to feel like we were in good hands. They even took pictures to show us a summary of their work. Now we’re enjoying a house that feels so much more cozy with its ability to heat efficiently. Highly recommend 316!

Huge fan of 316 insulation - I got multiple quotes for spray foam insulation and 316's came in super reasonable. Going through the whole process: Jami came for the up-front assessment, and was extremely knowledgable on what I'd need for both my framing and insulation permits, offered multiple solutions to solve (ultimately saving me money). She got me a quote for what I needed, with multiple different options, same day. Once we decided to move forward with these folks, Janae helped us get scheduled within our overall home renovation timeline, checked in to make sure we were still on schedule, and followed up after the install to make sure all went well. For the actual installation, we had them do a pre-framing insulation (installed fire blocking, sealed exterior windows, doors, and any other areas where there might be a draft, added foam in holes between floors, etc) and this was done by Ryan who did a fantastic job. The installation of spray foam was done by Wesley, who is an artist with a spray nozzle. Spray foam can be super messy, but he made sure the whole home was protected (including electrical boxes, plumbing, and wires for lights), did an awesome job of getting accurate coverage for both the walls and the ceilings, and then cleaned up like a champ. The rest of the batt insulation where we opted not to spray (thanks to Jami helping us save money by offering batts an an option) was done by Shane and Ryan. they did a bunch of ceiling work, as well as attic and soffit stuff, which turned out great. Once the crew was all done, they cleaned up and the house was cleaner than when they started. Absolutely A+ all around - and really appreciated their clear communication, quality work, and follow up.

I had many many estimates. Had to be over 15 different companies. I was looking for someone who knew their stuff, gave me decent pricing, had honest (good) reviews, and amazing customer service. I’m so glad I went with 316 because they were so easy to work with. They were informative on everything they were doing, walked me through their process plan, and told me everything that needed to be done. All necessary things. Some other companies were telling me they were going to charge me a crazy extra amount for mold remediation and it was not absolutely needed. (It was a tiny tiny spot) easily cleaned with bleach and water. Even 316 told me how we could accurately clean it ourselves. After choosing them, their customer service was still nothing short of amazing. They wanted to make sure everything was done correctly on their end before proceeding to each next step. They were communicative & punctual, and showed me pictures of the complete job. It looked great! There was a little accident where they broke a part of my chandelier. They gave me the option to fix it or replace it and they would take care of all the fees. (I got a new one) and they installed it and everything. no worries on my part, I just sent an Amazon link of the new chandelier I wanted. They did an amazing job, had amazing customer service, fair pricing, & they offer financing. 316 is by far the superior crawl space company. I recommend them to anyone needing vapor barrier repair and anything in the crawlspace / attic done. Thanks 316!

Shane and Andrew, did a great job with my attic, which was an absolute mess from a prior leaking roof. They stripped all the old insulation, bad wood, repaired the damaged metal vents, removing bird nests, and sprayed for mold all in a single day. The next time they visited, they spayed the new insulation, and brought my older home's attic up to safety code. All throughout, they were very respectful of my home. Making sure to lay tarps, add protection, and whatever else was necessary to avoid mess and damage to my home. Any mess that managed to make it through was cleaned up by them. Overall, a very pleasant experience. The only minor critique I could offer is that they don't offer any discounts for paying in full/up front in cash. However, I think the quality makes up for the lack of that option.

316 Insulation Put a new ground vapor cover in the crawl space of my home and did a great! Kaleb and Vic took the extra time to clean the entire area and fix the insulation where needed. What a fantastic job 316 Insulation did on my house. I was upstairs when they drilled and filled the downstairs walls. I could hear the difference immediately from across the house while they were filling the midfloor in the downstairs bedroom. The walls aren’t hollow any more so noise is deadened. I didn’t think it was gonna make such a big difference, but it did! Technicians Mardo and Wes suited up and got er’ done with a high degree of quality. I’m impressed! Jami, the estimator, sorted out, determined what process each area required by code, had to technically sell me on each area and compete with several other contractors for this work. We had to get new plumbing lines for our house and my plumber said to call 916 Insulation to get them wrapped properly and for a fair price. Jami came out the the first day we had available, two days after we called, and went through our crawl space throughly!! She came back with pictures of everything and had highlights with notes. We asked for two quotes to insulate the pipes and repair the insulation that had rodent problems and to replace the whole plastic ground cloth with cleanup for droppings on the footings throughout. We did both and we're so glad we did!! Andrew and Kaleb arrived and had everything in control. Repairs and installation were excellent, they had everything fixed and totally cleaned up. 316 Insulation insulated the exterior walls of our recently-acquired house, built in 1952, by the “drill and fill” method, through our interior walls. There were some unexpected challenges, but 316 Insulation communicated clearly and addressed each issue in turn. Andrew and Kodi were especially helpful and our house is now much improved. I would recommend 316 Insulation for any insulation job.

Excellent company and service! They were my third estimate for spay-foam attic insulation. Starting from the beginning I had a great experience getting my detached metal garage ceiling and partial wall insulated. Travis was the salesman very thorough and direct. He worked with me and tailored the work to my budget with 3 bids on the job 316 wasn’t the cheapest but the most competent. 316 Insulation of Seatle was absolutely wonderful. On time, professional, and mess free! The spray foam insulation was the best choice and they were great at helping us make the right choice!!! Would use them again and again!

We just had our house insulated last month by 316 Insulation. Our home has a large walk-in crawl space which had been insulated with old fiberglass batting held-up by chicken wire. It was a mess. All of the old insulation and chicken wire was safely removed and then replaced with 3 inches of spray foam and our pipes got wrapped in insulation. The entire job took two days. I recommend not being in your home when the spray is being applied! Once completed the crawl had 6" to 9" of more clearance space (makes a big difference) along with the advantage of removing places where rodents would nest (droppings everywhere). Overall I'm very pleased with 316 and their work and recommend their services. Kent (owner) and all the employees we worked with were courteous and professional. We'd work with them again. FYI.....We got bids from four different companies.

We had 316 do a fair amount of work for us in 2023, and they did an incredible job. Very thorough! About a year later they helped us again when we discovered a different contractor had dismantled and damaged some of our insulation. Excellent work and communication throughout! The crew kept everything clean and really got into every crevice to spray down mold killer and foam seal. I have a recessed ceiling with very little access space and they got all the way in the back of the ceiling to seal around my chimney that had some big gaps and was causing all kinds of issues in my attic. My wife and I recently hired 316 insulation to fully redo my crawl space and attic in our first home. Working with them has been outstanding and I can’t recommend them enough! The company is a family owned business and they treat you like family in the best ways. I had a few quotes in the jobs they performed and they had extremely fair pricing, great communication, and educated us on the services provided. I want to give a special shout out to Matthew one of the contractors that was at our job site every time. He was extremely professional and a very hard worker. On the last day of work they identified one area of concern and are performing a follow up inspection to verify everything is good. These people really stand by their work and what to make sure it is done properly which I respect!

They removed old attic insulation and installed new. The scheduling was contingent on the roof replacement and they were very accommodating with changes. Communication from the office was excellent. Also, from the staff onsite - every day they knocked at the door to let us know they were starting. They gave status updates during the day. 316 Insulation Crew inspected my home's crawlspace. Hey were very quick in response to my call for a inspection. They sent out a crew to clean the crawl space, install a new vapor barrier, foam insulate the foundation and insulate the water pipes. The job was done on time and met my expectations. In July of 2020 I had 316 Insulation install attic insulation and crawl space vapor barrier for me. Not only were they inexpensive compared to all the other estimates, but their work team did a fantastic job on the installation. They were quick, efficient, and customer focused. Attic insulation- 316 Insulation was amazing! They came in and gave me a really good quote along with a great scope of work and suggested a few options. They offered financing, which is rare, and also let me reschedule for a month later. They were a little late the day of due to working with another client until super late (I'm sure that client was impressed), but they did call ahead of time, so I really appreciated the call instead of just sitting around not knowing. I wasn't home, but my mom was and she said they were very friendly and they cleaned up after themselves as well. A+++

316 is a great company. The owner Kent worked with us for over a year as we eliminated rodent issues and completed other construction projects that needed to be done prior to re insulating. Kent came out several times to resolve our issues and we were 100% satisfied with all of his service and detail. I would recommend them over other companies especially how involved the owner is in his customer satisfaction.

We contacted 316 Insulation to install new insulation and ducting in our crawl space. The company provided a fair quote very quickly and completed the job in a week. The entire experience was excellent. Jami, one of the family, prepared the quote and even came back to assist with wrapping the ducts. This is a very busy time of the year, with their technicians busy working many jobs. Never once did we feel as if they were rushing to get done. My positive experience started with Janae, who answers their phone. She was so friendly and helpful and very easy to communicate with. Then our experience with Kent, who came out for our estimate, was also very positive. I wasn't there but my husband said, "I like this guy better than the first company because he found more stuff we need to fix." We then got our estimate in a very timely manner, which I greatly appreciated because we were crunched for time. The quote was about 40% less than the first company that gave us an estimate and the whole quote approval / scheduling process was so very well executed. I met Kent and his sister Jamie when they came out to do the work and they were extremely hard working and very attentive to details. They totally cleaned up after their work. I very highly recommend 316 Insulation, who was recommended to me by my realtor. I really like supporting small businesses and 316 Insulation is actually a family-run business. I work with contractors all the time as a Realtor and I have to say this is one of the best companies I have ever worked with. When my house sprung a leak all of my insulation got wet underneath my home. I called a couple of companies to dry out the insulation and reinstall. I was worried as it can quickly turn out to be moldy if left unattended. The results were not good with the other insulation companies one person never called me back and the other one couldn't get back to me for a few days. When I called 316 insulation the office person was warm and friendly and was genuinely concerned about getting me taken care of. They came out that same day and gave me an estimate which was very reasonable and started the work the next day. 316 was concerned about getting the job done right away and they took care of business! You don't see that very often. I would recommend this company to everyone and anyone that I meet. You just don't see good customer service like that anymore. If you are in need of insulation among other services they perform I would definitely recommend you call them first.
