My Terminix guy is better than yours! Hey everyone, I met Jonathan Magee today and let me tell you, he’s a thousand out of a thousand. Awesome, fantastic, professional, and just an all-around great personality. He came in, did the inside, did the outside, and made sure everything was taken care of. Plus, he actually talked with us like a real person, super sweet and professional at the same time. Terminix is definitely the way to go, but only if you ask for Jonathan. The termite inspector did a thorough job & was very courteous, as well as knowledgeable. He explained everything in a way I could understand. Great service!
First I will say that the technicians that came out were professional and friendly. However that is only because I called and complained about the issue was still not resolved and wanted my 3000 back! Well after that there was no follow up and I even reached out like I was told to if the problem was still going on no answer and when I called back to schedule a follow up they set me up as if I was getting new service . Please look around and find a better company that actually cares about the work and the customer who is paying large amounts of money on services .
Mr. Netherland does really good job when he comes out for applications. But my bill goes up every two months. That's it for me. I'm moving on!
Terminix promised a one-visit, no-prep heat treatment that would completely eliminate bed bugs—then showed up and admitted they don’t even offer heat treatments anymore. Instead, I was offered a chemical treatment plan that required extensive prep, repeated home visits, and ongoing bites, directly contradicting everything I was sold. Management admitted the service was misrepresented, yet failed to issue a full refund for months and repeatedly ignored my follow-ups. I ultimately had to hire another company, which resolved the issue properly. Misrepresentation, poor communication, and unresolved refunds—extremely disappointing experience. I will never use Terminix for any level of pest control treatment.

I recommend choosing a different company. Beyond basic termite prevention (which can be handled independently with inexpensive products), our experience with this branch has been extremely disappointing.<br><br>We hired them for rodent exclusion services, which required a $9,000 upfront setup fee plus an ongoing annual service fee, with the understanding that this included a warranty and return visits if squirrel activity continued. Unfortunately, we have had to contact them multiple times for a persistent issue, and the service experience has been consistently unreliable.<br><br>On several occasions, technicians were scheduled within a specific appointment window and either failed to show up or canceled without any notification. In one instance, we waited through the entire three-hour service window and only learned they were not coming after calling the office ourselves.<br><br>Communication has been another major issue. Calls are routed through a national call center, which then relays information to the local branch. This setup has led to inconsistent and sometimes contradictory information, with different representatives providing different answers about scheduling and follow-up. The lack of coordination makes it difficult to resolve issues efficiently.<br><br>Given the cost of this service and the repeated failures to honor scheduled appointments, the overall experience has been frustrating and unprofessional. If others have had similar experiences, it may be worth reviewing your contract terms, as repeated missed appointments could constitute a breach of service obligations. In that case, requesting a refund or filing a report with the Better Business Bureau may be appropriate before moving on to another provider.

Had something deceased in my basement crawlspace. I am a 67 year old female, live alone and very sqimish. Did not want to see or know what it was. They were very kind, removed it, reset traps and made me feel comfortable. Terminix is fine for bug control but do not use them for anything else. I’m editing my review because we paid for an exclusion and for a new crawl space door. They cut our roses and Japanese maple without asking, butchered the door (also decided to spray paint it black near HVAC system while my 3 month old was in the house), and to top it all off we still have issues with pests getting in our crawl space. The local branch has done nothing to make this right and we are out the $2500. I’d recommend going with a local service for any exclusion needs and NEVER let them do any contracting work outside of pest control.
the entire team, came to our aid, for termites' inspection, installation within the course of three hour we had the entire process completely finished. Customer Service is the best I have received in my 57 years, as an adult, I am 67 years old, and I have been with your team since 2018. I will recommend the entire United States of American on your team, EXCELLENT COMPANY. EXCELLENT.

TERMINIX annual termite inspection was great and thorough today. 12/4/2025. Professional pleasant technician. Worked efficiently. New system helps locate bait stations quicker.
I arranged for Terminix to come out to treat my home for Sugar ants upon responding the Technician David came out walked around the home then came in. I explained to him that I was having issues at the stove area and kitchen countertops, he then explained to me he would not be able to move the stove and set a trap nor would he be able to do much more because we had too much furniture. I immediately got into an argument with the technician and asked him to leave my property as I could have went to Home Depot myself and got a can of spray like he had and possibly did it myself. He literally looked like a fool with a spray can, I then called another company who came out move the stove set bait and placed a gel based ant repellent solution that would take care of the ants something Terminix would not do. This company is a real joke.
Over the phone they said it was a free termite inspection but when I got the follow up call it changed to $400! And they didn’t even mention that on the first call. Crazy!
All 3 technician were very good and knowledgeable. They all were very polite.
I would like to say this experience with Terminix was amazing. The guys went above and beyond. Provided great customer service and explained the process. Great personality and attitude. Stay away.from this company. Customer service folks super nice but ineffective. Paid them for 4 months with terrible results. Breda cleaned up their mess. And Terminix is still trying to charge me. Run don't walk to another company!

Please stay away from Terminix. COMMUNICATING with them is like something I have never experienced. They didn't complete the first initial appointment , they continue to schedule appointment that they knew I couldn't be home for because I had spoke with and agent to let them know of my availability . Then continued to charge me afterward and refused me a refund. NEVER AGAIN PLEASE BEWARE!!!

Johnathan Magee absolutely saved my experience with this company. It was a really rough start with people not showing up, showing up and not fully doing the job, lack of professionalism and I was at my wits in. Then along comes Mr. Magee and not only is he thorough and professional. He is knowledgeable, has great communication and very considerate. Since he has been our technician we haven’t had issues. I went from calling customer service almost weekly to try and get the service I pay for to wanting to call customer service to make sure they appreciate how well Mr. Magee represents their company.
Excellent service. Timely. Technician (Bernisha Lewis) was very thorough. She was on-time within the appointment window and followed up with visit details shortly after completing the first visit. The tenant whom she spoke with at the property was very pleased with her professionalism and spoke highly of her work and communication about the needed treatment to exterminate the insects that are a nuisance.

I’ve had service from Terminex for over twenty years, technicians are always on time friendly and professional. They treat my property once every three months and the results are exactly as advertised.
Paid the 2180 up front for the rat extermination service only to have the come twice so far and stick less than a dozen sticky traps out WITH NO BAIT. And not leave any poison or anything. Not even open the crawl space leading under the house which I specifically made sure to ask about before paying just to be lied to apparently. And they also sealed the outside entrances but missed several and now have rats TRAPPED inside my house which is worse than before when they were in and out!!!

Terrible company who will charge you even though no services were rendered. Asked for a refund and it was declined even tho they never serviced my address. Criminal business practices and would avoid at all costs. Avoid avoid avoid.
Sketchy company. Darrick Douglas took advantage of my elderly mother. She has been with this company for 26 years. When she signed up to have her house sealed. She specifically said she wasn’t going to add the service after the 2 years were up. He sent through a 235 fee for the year 2027 service anyway to the finance company. The finance company paid Terminex and now she has a 235 credit for a service she didn’t want. And has to pay interest on that service. I’ve spoken with customer service and they agree with me but there was nothing they could do since it already went to finance. I also asked for the office manager to call me and that’s been 3 days. Avoid terminex. If I could leave 0 stars, I would!<br><br>Update: Follow up review on Terminex’s shady practice. I had 2 companies come out and they reviewed their work or lack of. Only house sealing they did was put a metal strip under our basement door. 1700 dollars for that. They also set traps but didn’t use ANY bait. Both companies told me they’ve heard and seen this a lot with Terminex. Needless to say, they are fired and we have a new company.
The pest inspector was able to treat all areas of concerns that I pointed out to him<br>I felt assured that he got all of the insects that was invading the outside of my home and bathrooms. I appreciate his attention to details.

The people who have come to our house from Terminix are most kind and helpful. We even have a friendly relationship with our regular guy, Emmanuel. The product works a little too well; it kills the cockroaches and other pests but also fireflies and caterpillars. :(

My Service Technician was Mr. Clarence Sereboo. I rated him 5 stars because he went above and beyond to treat my homes interior and exterior. He pointed areas that were a source for bugs to get in, installed ant traps and bates. He even found some huge dangerous wasps nest that I didn't even realize was was at the front of my house. He knocked them down, sprayed the area and bagged up the mess.<br>Much appreciation for an excellent job.
I called Terminix in June for a free termite inspection and got a reasonable quote, but I didn’t move forward right away. Recently I decided to proceed, so I scheduled another inspection. Unfortunately, this visit was nothing like my first experience.<br><br>The employee arrived on time, but his attitude and professionalism left a lot to be desired. We needed to access my crawl space, which is walkable, but he flat-out said he wasn’t going down there. I explained that’s where the treatment would need to happen, and for the inspection to be complete, we had to look. I even offered to go with him—which I did—and my crawl space isn’t even difficult or “creepy.”<br><br>During the inspection, I had to point out areas of concern because he didn’t seem very knowledgeable. Afterward, he immediately tried to sell me an annual plan, even though I’d already said I was only interested in a one-time treatment. He quoted me a price that was about $300 higher than the original June estimate, which I was willing to consider, but the written proposal he later sent was over three times what he told me verbally ($1,200 turned into $3,800!) and included upsells he never mentioned.<br><br>The whole experience—from the lack of professionalism to the drastic, unexplained price jump—was disappointing. Based on this, I don’t feel comfortable moving forward with Terminix and will be taking my business elsewhere.
The technician (Clarence Sereboo), who came to treat my house against pest was very professional and polite on my environment. Lastly, he made me understand why there’s the need for inside treatment. The company should treat their technicians well so that guys like Clarence would stay longer.

I’m satisfied with the service that was performed today. It was properly done and he complied with my special request to let me know when he arrives on my property. The Tech was polite and professional.
I do not recommend Terminix. Their services were ineffective—I continued to have pest (insect) issues, especially with mosquitoes, and saw no significant improvement compared to the year before when I had no service at all. Despite reaching out multiple times, they never provided a real resolution.<br><br>When I tried to cancel, they made the process extremely difficult, promising to escalate but never following through. They eventually told me my account was canceled, yet they kept sending people to my house and kept charging me. Even after calling again to cancel, they still showed up and charged me over for services I did not want.<br><br>Overall, their pest control was not effective, not worth the cost, and their customer service tactics were frustrating and full of empty promises.<br><br>(A side note to add that the individual technician who came to my home was very nice and respectful, but no real assessment or expertise was provided by anyone at Terminix to address the continued pest issues).

Highly recommended. I have absolutely nothing negative and everything positive to say. I can't stand insects and they make sure I don't see them. The employee that services my house empathetic of my concerns with spiders goes above and beyond to make sure they are gone and I feel safe on my property. If I could send a self paid bonus to him I would. It really means a lot.
WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER RECEIVED IN MY LIFE!!! I literally lost sleep over this and my technician, Clarence Sereboo, thought not servicing my house was funny; he was also VERY RUDE! I read where another customer said the tech came and stood for one minute and left and he caught this on camera. I discovered he was not spraying but was showing up and pretending to do so. He even came in a rainstorm one time. I had a spider infestation. I still had mosquitos. For $38 I bought a 1 gallon sprayer and Compare-N-Save 7.9% Bifenthrin Indoor/Outdoor Insecticide from Tractor supply, FIRED Terminix and saw results OVERNIGHT. I gave Terminix more than a year to prove themselves and in the end said that a technician better never step foot on my property again. I am happier than ever and completely BUG FREE!!! This stuff is the truth and WORKS WONDERS. I will never go back to that nightmare! GOODBYE TERMINIX 👋🏽

I take accountability for not hearing the doorbell the first time they came. My phone was on silent and my doorbell is attached to it. Their time frame was 8 am - 10 am. They came at 8:38 am but I didnt see they had came until 9:07 am. I tried to call to see if they can still come back in that time frame, I had no answer. So I called headquarters. They booked me for 2 days later I accept. 2 days later an hour into the time frame something in my spirit did not feel like they were coming. I tried to deny my senses to not be annoying but I ended up calling hq… they tried to playcate me and make me at least wait the time range before having concern but they decided to double check my info and said that i am in their system for 2 days after that. I said how did yall book me for something that was NEVER discussed. They said they were down a tech. So then I asked well why didnt yall communicate and ASK whats another good time. They basically was like take it or naw. So I agreed. I MADE SURE THIS TIME I was all ears and ready on my part for them…. They AGAIN didnt show up nor call. I call hq after the time frame they say the tech didnt see you for today, they see you for tomorrow. I said what time? They said the same time frame as today. Now I know you lying. Because I get TEXT CONFIRMATIONS I RESPOND TO so aint no way July 18 got mixed up with July 19 but the time frames are the same. I am seriously willing to add this care to services needed to upkeep my home (its like I’ve been raw dogging knowing I live with other ppl in my building and kids who leave trash in the hallways). My mistake was GENUINE and I PROMPTLY reached out and try to get business back on track. But for terminix to not even COMMUNICATE changes but make them behind my back… so if I didnt know and wasnt home, I would be looking like I am just a bad client when I would not have been. Like… if they are being petty from the first missed appointment you can just stop and say no. Not keep dragging out these utterly unprofessional dropped service times. At least if I didnt answer the door, the man still was AT WORK. I have to SKIP WORK for these appointments. He’s getting paid no matter what. I am not and still about to spend it.
My regular pest control service tech Wilfrid is amazing. He’s always pleasant and he always come with a smile. My concerns are his concerns and he treats my home like it’s his home and for that I am very appreciative.
Great service from Terminix. Had a hornet nest above my door and called to schedule. They were able to expedite the technician to come same day and get rid of the nest. Very prompt, communicative and kept me informed during the whole process. Highly recommend Sundar the Technican!

Just came here to share my experience. If you request a cancelation fight for some sort of proof. If not, you will still be charged for services after you request a cancelation. It happened to me. Even after having documented proof of speaking to their representative they still scheduled a service against my authorization. I needed the tech to come out and pull the bait traps but instead the tech performed a service.<br>After the traps were collected from another tech and cancelation was “completed” in a separate conversation because you can’t cancel all at once, a bill gets mailed out to me because “services were rendered and a refund can not be initiated “<br>Be weary and take down names and times of any communication with any representative.<br>Miscommunication is rampant and months down the line you may still have a bill.
I was charge on my initial visit and they never came back out the 2 other times they were suppose to just canceled appointments. No1 returns your calls. My last tech was suppose to come between 1-5 and text me @ 4:05 saying he won't make it. U wasted my whole day. Water of money
Inexcusable Service from Local Terminix Office – Beware<br><br>I normally give companies every opportunity to make things right, but after countless broken promises and utter disregard for customer service, I have to speak up. My experience with my local Terminix office has been beyond disappointing—it’s been outright infuriating.<br><br>For weeks now, I’ve been given the absolute runaround. Scheduled appointments? Repeatedly missed. No-shows without the courtesy of a call or even a basic explanation. It’s not just a one-off error—it’s a clear pattern of negligence and total lack of accountability.<br><br>Even worse is the complete radio silence from management. I’ve made multiple attempts to reach someone who could take ownership or at least offer some form of apology. Instead? My voicemails and calls go unanswered, time after time. The lack of professionalism is staggering.<br><br>This is not just about a scheduling issue—it’s about a company that clearly doesn’t value its customers. If you’re considering Terminix for any service, think twice. There are far too many other providers out there who understand that time, trust, and communication still matter. I wouldn’t recommend this company for anything, under any circumstance.
This is our first year with Terminix and it has been nothing but trouble. They will send you through a line of people and they all have different answers. Even when we call 2 weeks in advance, they fail to get us on their schedule. They are rude as well. Customer service lacks. Our 1 year agreement is almost up and we are planning on taking our business somewhere else. We still have ants in our kitchen, ant beds everywhere in the yard, we still see bugs throughout the house especially in the basement. It's just not worth it.
I’m always pleased and more than satisfied with Terminix service. My technician not only came in and solved my pest problems but gave me information on how to keep the ants and any other annoying pest away. I’m really glad that I decided to go with Terminix. Thank you for everything.
I requested an inspection last week & Anthony came & inspected & gave me a quote. I signed the contract on Friday June 20th & was told service will commence the next business day. After the weekend passed Anthony Contacted me & told me he submitted it to the ops team & he asked what day is fine. I told him any day this week asap. He contacted me yesterday & told me the tech will come today to service our church but there wasn’t a specific timeframe. I waited all day & the tech was no show. I called at 3:00 & they tried reaching the tech & he didn’t answer it went to voicemail so they left a voicemail & told me he was probably busy & will reach back out. After waiting I called again at 5:40 because I hadn’t heard from the tech & they tried calling him again but no answer so they left a voicemail. I told them to reschedule me to tomorrow because they have inconvenienced me & made me cancel all my plans scheduled for today as I was at home all day waiting

I would give a 0 star if there was one! My experience for the past year with Terminix has been horrible! I am throwing money away because my issues have not been resolved at all and the issues are worse. Now the rates are going up! My service sucks! I am in a brand new house and I have a continuous problem inside with ants, spiders, scorpions, centipedes, and millipedes. My agent does nothing at all to help the problem. He has yet to go into my attic...he has a back issue! I have requested another agent but they keep sending him. When my contract expires, I am getting a new exterminator service who will actually help. In my last home we had Terminix for 23+ years and they were wonderful!
Clarence did an excellent job taking care of pesky insects the have come out of hiding. The fire ants and mosquitos are very irritating. Clarence explained what he was going to do and then showed me the services around the yard he completed. Terrible experience from a the start! Rep lied and said they can treat same day. Tech calls me and takes my payment over the phone and tells me they will treat the next day. I call in the next day and somehow my appointment was rescheduled for a week out with no knowledge to me…. I was in an emergency situation and they can care less. I will never recommend this company to anyone!
Emmanuel arrived promptly and was very professional and courteous!<br>He understood our problem and treated our home. We are pleased that he will be our technician going forward.
We had a problem with some small black insects. Sundar diagnosed the problem, made the application and told us it would take 2 weeks to be certain the treatment worked. He was right on the treatment and the time frame. Problem resolved. He is very reliable and thorough in his work and his explanations. We are happy customers.
Technicians- Eli Brown & Jeremy were exceptional and very professional. If ever I need another wildlife service, I'll definitely contact them again. My matter was handled in a timely manner. Be cautious it’s not the job to get the little critters out of your house but to get you to sign up for an annual $350 maintenance contract!!
The service technician named Kerimore was amazing! He was well informed about his job and could answer any question. Also, his customer service was exceptional! Kudos to him for making my first experience with Terminix s great one!
The last two days I have experienced the worst<br>Customer service ever from one company. My family used Terminix in the past in the state of Alabama so I’m not sure if that made the difference and customer service or what. I will never in the foreseeable future be using or recommending Terminix to anyone. I have been on hold, hung up on, agents breathing hard because I’m trying to get an understanding of what’s happening, transferred and transferred, while asking for management over and over. Again this has been the worst customer service I have experienced from one company. I made an appointment one day for it to be rescheduled the next day with explanation or justification better yet communication with me. Never again would not recommend.
Living in an area that's in a state of transition (constant construction and renovation) we were battling indoor and outdoor pests. Contacted Terminx and was scheduled quickly. Tech (K. Harris) inspected and offered advice on what to do for long term results. He's visited twice and we've seen incredible results!
This company charged me $1800 for a full exclusion and didn't follow through on the work. They said they would hold my card on file then charged it without asking. The work was not completed and I cannot get a call back from Terminix despite multiple tries and paying for a year of full service. I am disputing the charge and I hope nobody else gets tricked into trusting them.
This service is completely worthless for roach control. They have been to my apartment in Buckhead at least six times and nothing has improved. I've been home several times when the technician was here and all he does is spray a little liquid on the baseboards when he can see that there are roachs crawling around in my stove and my refrigerator. I have lost over $50.00 worth of food that I had to throw out. Completely unacceptable.
If I could, I would be giving negative stars. I had a service appointment scheduled for today with an arrival window of 8-12. As I am typing this at 2pm, there has still been no technician sent to my house. There is, however, already a $225 charge on my card that they took over the phone though. I have called 5 times and each time they said, "let me reach out to the technician, Steven, who is supposed to provide your service today. Oh, looks like it went straight to voicemail. I left him a voicemail to call you back though." By the 4th call at 1pm, they told me they finally escalated the call to the service manager to see what can be done. By the 5th call at 1:30, I was told by that person it actually had not yet been escalated, so #4 lied. They said to expect to be contacted within the next 30 minutes by the service manager for a resolution. I have been told all 5 times that someone or another would reach back out. STILL HAVEN'T RECEIVED A SINGLE CALL BACK. This is a huge disrespect to my time and my money. Terrible communicators, so disrespectful! Yes, I'm hangry because I have been sitting around waiting 6 hours for someone to show up to an empty house that I have already moved out of, so there is no food and nothing comfortable to sit on. I don't even have bugs, it's just a requirement upon move out by my landlord.
Terminix is my go-to for extermination services in Smyrna, Ga. Bernisha Lewis has been the brave soul to help me at both of my homes to ensure it was free of pest activities, especially during my move-in. She is personable and kind. I always look forward to her quarterly visits. Please request her if you are looking for a great technician.
The Terminix representative was very thorough and was on-time.<br>Their service gives us a great deal comfort knowing we are protected against termites. I highly recommend them.
We are dissatisfied with the services provided. Several months ago, we entered into a termite monthly contract, but unfortunately, we still have termites present in our home, causing damage to our walls. I reached out to schedule a check to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment stations, and I was informed that someone would visit yesterday, but no one showed up or even communicated about the appointment.<br><br>Additionally, we had requested a rodent check for our attic, but it seems that this was never recorded in the company's schedule, as per my recent conversation. Due to the lack of proper customer service, we have decided to seek assistance from another company. It can be quite frustrating to make monthly payments for a service that lacks essential communication.<br><br>The individual I spoke with regarding these issues displayed a lack of empathy and concern for our peace of mind, especially regarding the safety of our home. We are considering terminating our current services and transitioning to a different provider as soon as possible.
Initially, when I first signed on with Terminix the technician would reach out to me before and after my service. Lately, that has not been the case. The last couple of times no post service communication and the service technician did not leave any glue traps in my garage. Please remember customer service is very important. I hope this post will change the current situation.
Exceptional customer service. The Technician always communicates with me the day before coming to my home, once he’s onsite and after he has completed treatment. I’ve been contracted with Terminix for years. I initially started my service with Terminix over 11 years ago at my first home. Sold that home and moved. Once I relocated to my new home and the builder 1 year termite warranty was up, i immediately switched over to Terminix who I trusted. I have the termite and pest control service with them. Been back with them now for 4 years. If I have any concerns between my scheduled services time, I simply call Terminix customer service and they schedule my technician to come back out. I’m very happy with my service. Highly recommend Terminix!
I tried to setup a service, did everything online. Called and checked to make sure that the technician was coming several times. Got up early waiting for the service, no one called or showed. I reached out to the chat and customer service. The technician had an emergency which I understand, BUT who is responsible for contacting the customer. Asked for the corporate phone number, the chat specialist refused and gave me an email address because they prefer to use email. Well I prefer for a company to communicate with me and let me know when things change. Extremely disappointed.
The technician did not show up for two appointments in a row (one for mosquito treatment, one for general pest control, at least a week apart from each other). When I called customer service after the second no-show, they tried to contact the technician, and when they couldn't reach the technician, their solution was to have the local branch call me back to reschedule the appointment. To be clear, they know when the technician does not show up, but they only reschedule the appointment if you call to complain. The local branch did not call me back, so I left this review and someone from their social media department asked me to email them. I did, and they supposedly contacted the branch and told them to call me as soon as possible. Three days passed and the local branch still did not call me back.<br><br>It’s like they went out of their way to ignore any request to contact me. Whether or not that's the case, I have no idea, because I asked the branch manager to provide an explanation for what happened, and he promised to call me back after he researched the case. A month later and I still have not heard from him. Ridiculously unprofessional.<br><br>Separately, we also had a technician inspect our home and wrongly determined that some droppings they found belonged to mice. We paid over $1,000 for an "exclusion service" that did not stop the droppings. A different technician came out and identified them as roach droppings. We never had mice or rats. It never made sense because we have cats. We paid over $1,000 for a service that was not even necessary.
