Eli and his crew came to my home with less than 24 hour notice to demo a ceiling, walls and carpet in a bedroom that had compromised material containing trace amounts of asbestos. This allowed us to go forward with our planned move days later. I didn’t want to put my family’s health in jeopardy so decided to have it remediated safely. Eli was professional, informative and kept me informed throughout the process what was happening. I highly recommend this company and Eli and his crew.

Truly impressed with ES America’s integrity and honesty. Elias came to do an asbestos test at our 1960s mid century home. After assessing the quality of our ceiling, he thoroughly and patiently explained the options — then recommended that we forgo the test / removal and repair over the popcorn ceiling safely, saving us thousands. Hired this company to do asbestos testing as a precaution before doing some renovations in our 1970s house. The technician, Jacob, was knowledgeable, thorough, and helpful, and remarkably courteous. I couldn't be happier with our experience. They were very helpful and knowledgable. We are remodeling our bathroom and found a layer of plywood and then another layer of old tiles that they used to place in schools. Knowing those have often contained asbestos and our house being built in 1963, we called Environmental Services of America. I reached out to ESA after I suspected the water mitigation/mold remediation company I was working with was ripping me off, using my insurance claim as a cash grab for themselves. That other company had been telling me I needed upwards of $50,000 worth of work and was purposefully causing damage, so they could charge a small fortune to clean up/repair it. THANK HEAVENS I called ESA for a second opinion. They sent out someone to inspect my home and said the VAST majority of that work was completely unnecessary, including tens of thousands of dollars in unnecessary asbestos removal. ESA didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need. Sarah spent a couple of hours on the phone with me over the course of several days, educating me in how the process of cleaning up a minor flood in a home on a slab was really supposed to work. In fact, I was so grateful to ESA for stopping me from making a $50,000+ mistake, that I hired them to do an extra mold remediation in a closet that was the source of the problem, even though ESA told me that it really wasn't necessary to do this work, since the first company already did it. But I wanted to hire them to do SOMETHING in my home, both to give me extra peace of mind in case the bad company didn't really do that part properly ... and to thank ESA for spending so much time with me on the phone and in person. Such an easy and painless process. I was connected with Sarah to get the asbestos test scheduled and to get more information on my options. Eli, the technician came out and explained what he was doing as well to make sure I understood what was going on. The test came back 24 hours later and I was given multiple options to handle payment (via email/online is my preference).

Sarah and Eli were wonderful through every step of this frustrating process. I bought an old house and didn’t realize I was going to have to deal with asbestos while remodeling. Sarah was able to answer all my questions and made an appointment for Eli to come out the following day. Eli was professional and informative when he collected samples and answered questions I had around the renovations I was doing. I received a quote from another company before finding Environmental Services of America and while they were quoting me accurately to remove all materials I wanted removed because they didn’t collect samples, like Eli did, I would have paid for a lot more removal than necessary. Sarah called with my sample results from the lab two days after Eli collected the samples and they provided me with a quote that same evening. The next week they were able to do the removal before I moved in and they were finished in one day! The following day I received my clearance letter and my contractor got right to work on my renovations. I couldn’t be happier with the honesty and efficiency of this company!

When I found out that there might be asbestos tape around old duct work in my crawl space, they came out quickly the next day to perform testing. ESA recently performed some asbestos abatement in my new home. They were incredibly communicative, quick to get me an estimate, and most importantly - Elias and his crew did absolutely great work. They were able to make adjustments that I needed after our initial conversations, which included submitting an amendment on the official application to the government agency overseeing these types of projects, without affecting the required waiting period that agency enforces between notification to the agency and actual work start date. We had asbestos-containing popcorn ceilings and tile ceilings that needed to be taken care of, as well as some walls that we knew we eventually wanted to change that needed abatement as well. I contracted covid-19 right before the work was scheduled to be done, and Elias was able to FaceTime me the morning of, double checking while on site to confirm exactly what needed to be done, in lieu of an on-site walk-through. Afterwards, they did a great job cleaning up, no dust or any debris left behind, and my contractor who has seen his fair share of abatement services even commented at how good of a job they did, and how clean it was afterwards. Elias was super knowledgeable and I will 100% recommend hiring him to any of my family and friends looking to remove or abate harmful materials on their property.

Asbestos discovered in old ductwork would greatly delay installation of new havoc and ductwork, and here we were in some of coldest weather on record! Someone referred me to Environmental Services of America. Within a short amount of time of leaving a message on their answering service, a return phone call led to a quick help in pushing for an emergency approval from epd and my ductwork was scheduled for the next day! Workers were prompt, completed work in a timely manner, and left the crawl space clean and clear!!! Don’t even bother with another company!!! They are great!!

We recently purchased a 1920's farmhouse and I was afraid of evidence of asbestos in the house. Our inspector gave us a name, but after some research I found ES of America. I called this company originally when I was looking to test my dinning room ceiling. However, I went a different route as I was not in a hurry and my samples didn’t look so worrisome! Tori reached out to me last week to follow up, I informed her I used a lab and took samples myself and in the future I would keep them in mind. Never did I think the future was only a week away! My parents started to renovated their bathroom yesterday, the contractor stopped as soon as he saw the plaster under the tile. He asked we have it tested and ofcourse since Tori was still so fresh in my mind, I reached out asap! I explained my urgency and they had their inspector Jacob come out that afternoon (5:30) and I received results today at 2:30pm! I called this company for mold and asbestos diagnosis, and removal. The price could have been a lot worse but, with the project that was presented to them, the price was not bad. The professionalism shown by each staff member was exceptionally great. The timeline that they gave me was shorter than expected. On my inspection, I found a couple of spots that had not been touched, but when I called them on it, the staff was right on it the very next morning. If you have mold or asbestos in your home, give ESA a call. I don't think that you would be disappointed.

Great people and very hardworking. Eli was great during the removal process. He sent photos and updated me through out the two days that it took for them to remove the floor. They did a wonderful job and my flooring company was able to install my new floor the day after Eli and his crew completed the removal. I highly recommend this company!

Awesome company to work with. I initially contacted ESA to test for asbestos in my home in preparation for a demo project. Sarah was always great at answering my questions and it was really quick and easy to schedule with them. Eli came and did the testing at our house, and he was very kind and professional. When asbestos was discovered in our carport, Sarah was so understanding about me rescheduling an abatement multiple times because of delays with our construction project. Eli also managed the asbestos abatement, and he made the process as smooth as it could be. I would absolutely recommend Environmental Services of America if you need asbestos testing or abatement.

Environmental Services of America did a fantastic job testing for, and removing, asbestos in our new home. They were extremely thorough and informative throughout the entire process, making sure that any of our concerns were addressed. They are also very responsive and we were able to move from testing to abatement completion in only a short amount time. That's not to say that they cut corners to make things go faster. They obtained all required permits from state and local authorities, and also had certified inspectors (who I believe worked for the state) come in to ensure that all asbestos removal and disposal was being done by the book. At the end of the process, our house was completely cleaned so that no asbestos fibers remained in the air or on any material. I highly recommend this company for any of your asbestos testing or abatement needs. There is a reason that they have so many 5 star reviews.

I live in an old 1950s home, and I was considering replacing the kitchen tile. I wanted to determine whether there was asbestos under the ceramic tile. Elias came to the house and gave me a lot of extremely helpful information. He is very informative and non-pushy. He was a great contractor to work with.

I was contacted promptly after inquiry, Eli was great in explaining where specifically the asbestos was found in my older mobile home, and how it was to be removed before the structure could be demolished. Job was done great and within the timeframe they stated in the estimate. Would definitely recommend.

No one ever wants to hear asbestos after closing on their first home, but Elias and Sara, and the team that helped us clear it all out to make our home a safe place to breath. Elias acted quickly and tested various materials in the house for asbestos after we found frayed asbestos tape on the air ducts of our home. Within a week, ESA was able to get in and remove the ducts and a linoleum flooring we are planning to remove for a construction project. It was pricey to have it all taken care of, which is my only complaint, but I believe given the complicated process of abatement that it's just a pricey process in general. Sara was the sweetest person to talk to and was always available to answer any questions we had and Elia's professionalism gave us peace of mind that the job was done well! It was expensive, and the some parts of the testing were not necessary, but we appreciate their service nonetheless.

Environmental Services of America is a great company. The Owner, Elias knows what he is doing and is very helpful and informative. They are quick to inspect and provide a quote and quick to get the job started and completed. They do good work and are very reasonably priced.

I called ES America on a Thursday afternoon after a general inspection on a property turned up a possibility for asbestos tape on the ductwork. Elias was very helpful on the phone with information, and agreed to meet me at the property first thing the following morning. He took a sample for testing and was able to get results quickly. His promptness and efficiency were greatly appreciated under the tight due diligence constraints. I would absolutely call him for future work!

Sara in the office was polite and punctual. Elias came out almost immediately and collected samples. Within four hours I had my results. This company is a model how all companies should work
