A technician named Alterrekk from EcoShield came to our home for service. When he arrived, the first thing he said to my wife was that I had cursed him out and was very rude when he called to ask if he could arrive earlier. That statement was completely untrue. Because of this experience, I would caution others regarding this technician, as he was dishonest about the interaction.<br><br>That said, we are otherwise very satisfied with EcoShield’s service and have never had any issues with pests or with other technicians—only with Alterrekk.
I’ve been using them for about 3 years now and have definitely noticed a sharp decrease in the number of bugs inside the house. Eric did a great job of the bi-monthly treatment this time too, even with the sib-freezing temps outside.
Eric at EcoShield completed our monthly indoor/outdoor inspection and treatment. He was professional, pleasant, and efficient!

Initially, both of the gentlemen including Jhalen S. and Nabeel B. are very knowledgeable at the jobs they both perform. I had a great first time treatment experience with EcoShield Pest Solutions and I look forward to seeing the results of their visits.<br><br>Update: As we've moved forward, there were some hiccups along the way, but each instance was handled by their customer care team to rectify the issue. Shout-out to Pat! Hopefully, the technical issues with equipment and services get ironed out so that this company survives in this area.
We’ve had Ecoshield for a few years now and have been very satisfied. Tristian is always a pleasure. He comes to the door to let us know he is stating our service, checks to see if we’ve been having and problems and makes sure to address any problem areas. If I see any problems between services, I just give them a call and they send someone out for a follow up visit free of charge.
I wish ALL techs were as good as Darien. He's the best tech the company has. They have good products. Customer service isn't the best when you call. Hard to change appt days. Always tell you they'll call back and never do.
Customer service has always been amazing, whether on the phone with Kyla or in person with any technician. We truly see a difference/decrease in the amount of spiders and outside bugs in the house. Highly recommend EcoShield for pest control.

Cameron and EcoShield has kept my home bug free for two years. I moved here from California and have never seen so many strange looking spiders and stink bugs in my life. I rely on Echoshield to keep my home bug proof or I would have to move!

I had great interactions with the actual exterminators who came to my home but the business operates like a scam. I initially signed up because I needed mosquito service and then after not receiving it for months I was told that was an additional service I had to add on. I remember the sales guy killing a mosquito on his arm in my yard and swearing I would never have that problem again and then contracted me for service that didn’t include mosquitos?<br><br>I cancelled my service after finding the interior work ineffective, and was told I had to complete the length of the contract (even though if you check the terms they mention signature on page 4 where there is actually no signature gathered). I decided to tough it out and have them come for the remaining services. Then when I called for my final payment to confirm I was contractually complete the woman tried to convince me I had yet another two more services. It wasn’t until I asked for a manager and to escalate that she finally “double checked” and confirmed I was right and my contact was done.
Jace was very helpful, friendly, and polite, He made sure to go over all my concerns before we ended the call. I really appreciated that. Thank you Jace.
Kendrick was great today. He clarified a few procedural questions (do I need to move the cat litter boxes inside when you treat? Etc) and was super thorough and friendly. We so appreciate our EcoShield techs!
Cameron stopped by and serviced my home in the extreme cold weather. He did what he could and kept me posted and will be returning to complete the job for what couldn't be done in the cold. I absolutely loved the communication and updates.

The service tech is good person and does what is on his work order but for what is being treated (yard) over priced.oh I also have to add another thing about ecoshield salesman i was cutting grass when he came up to me and started the salesman bit and I showed him the size of the yard, he told me that they would treat the whole yard. When they came to treat the yard the first time I was here and watched the tech treat the yard and they did not go anywhere near what I was told/ sold the tech said they only go 15 feet from the home. I was not happy with that info. Salesman lied to me to get me to get a contract. B.S. then if you want to cancel the contract they will charge you $200 to cancel it.train your salesman not to lie about the service they provide. Still pissed off.
Representative on phone, John, was excellent! Great customer service. That said, it has yet to be seen how good EcoShield is, as they have already come out twice for pest control (ants) and they keep coming back. Hopefully this 3rd time will cure the issue.

Abril had Great customer service. I asked to spray entrance of attic and two dead wasp fell down. He immediately knew where the wasp normally come in the house; a vent outside near garage. He cleaned and sprayed in that area also. We had our entire home sprayed inside and outside. Cobwebs knocked down and mouse traps placed in garage. Great customer service and knowledgeable.
some of the Techs can be lazy and dont perform the proper services. apparently treating for grubs in the yard and ant mounds on the sidewalk are not part of their job. Once the trust is gone they are done. Im not watching them every time they come do the job.<br>I gladly paid the $250 cancellation fee to never have them at my house ripping me off again. $190 to only spray the perimeter of the house and leave (they even said that on the summary its all they did)... after I requested specific treatments in the yard that were ignored. I requested them take care of grubs and all ant hills by the sidewalk.. they did not even walk the property to service anything but a quick spray around the house perimeter.<br><br>They also dont grasp the concept that in September you have to pretreat for grubs to prevent them from growing into mature grubs in the fall and losing your yard to armadillos feasting on the grubs every night.

Apparently, my home is too big for ecoshield to service. There are wasp nests in various places in rooftop corners. He told the guys working on my bike that "we don't go that high" and so did nothing to solve the pest issue, yet I was CHARGED for a service that was useless. And didn't receive any summary of the issue. I had to hear it from the painters.<br>This is my SECOND attempt to try this company. I will be canceling my service AGAIN.

I've never left a review for my Pest Control Service until today. What a professional visit from EcoShield! Latoya was on-time – to the minute. That NEVER happens (cable guy). I took off work to be here, so that was much appreciated. She came prepared: inside & outside pest control and spider web removal. But she went above and beyond. She inspected the basement for critters – even disposed of one for us. Added some traps and Latoya scheduled a no-cost rodent inspection to find out where they are coming in, which saved me time. I highly recommend EcoShield for your pest control needs.
Service of removing spiders and webs not performed at visit but tech said that he did. We were away when said services were provided. I was asked to complete a survey on said services and was planning to until I walked out my home and was shocked that tech noted services he had not performed. I called, voiced dissatisfaction with service and a different tech was sent 2 days later. He removed about 1/2 the webs on exterior of home. Called to cancel related to poor service and they would not waiver the early cancellation fee. I called multiple times and each employee including the mgr in the ATL office read the same script: the only way to waive the fee was to resume services. I explained if you sent a tech that lied about completing service, I complain, you send another tech, would it not be wise to explain the situation and request he perform quality service to represent the company well? He did not do the job well, 1/2 the webs were still present so I called back. They wanted to send a third person. I explained why would I trust you a third time and I declined to have anyone else come to my home. Although I voiced great dissatisfaction and requested the name and # of company’s owner, they refused to give me requested information and still declined to waiver the cancellation fee. After 2 months of stress and agony, calling multiple times because I did not want this on my credit report. I paid the service charge for August but refused to pay the early termination charge. Thankfully we sold our home in Oct and I thought to try again, thinking if we no longer own the home they can’t treat it under the contact. Grateful that I spoke to Kay. She agreed to waive the fee. Thank you Kay!! Others I conversed with said they understood my situation be declined to waiver the fees.
EcoShield does a consistently fantastic job with our pest control. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me. Their recommendations are sound and their service thorough. We recently used them to install more insulation in our attic. They were on time, friendly, and did a great job. They cleaned up after themselves, vacuuming themselves out the front door to make sure they didn't miss anything. I highly recommend!

I would never recommend EcoShield. The sales rep who came to my home, Patrick, promised that they would pay off my existing pest control contract if I switched to their service — but that never happened. Because of their false promise, I ended up paying for two pest control services at the same time. When I tried to cancel, they tried to charge me a termination fee, even though they didn’t hold up their end of the agreement.<br><br>To make matters worse, their treatment didn’t solve anything — it actually made the bug problem worse. Overall, EcoShield has been dishonest and unreliable. Be careful before signing up — they’ll say whatever it takes to get you to sign a contract.

I have had four different people come to spray at my house over the time I have been using Eco Shield. Every single person is the most professional and nicest service person I have spoken to. They are all very patient to listen to where I want them to focus and what my problems are. They just are so polite and easy to work with. This driver is extremely aggressive. I was in the slow lane in Moving traffic on interstate 285 southbound and he comes flying up behind me at at least 85 miles. An hour starts tailgating me, and then proceeded to turn his bright side behind me when I did not go fast enough for him. He then proceeded to cut other others off in traffic and continue to tailgate other people. If you’re going to drive like a dumb ass Don’t do it in a company vehicle.

I’ve been with EcoShield for at least 2 years. Since I’ve been using them I haven’t seen a critter in my home. For the outside I don’t see any around my doors or windows. Very happy with the results. And the time Devonta took to ensure I didn’t have a wasp or bee problem.

Timothy was very professional and accommodating. He provided thorough explanations to my questions and made me comfortable with the precautions he was taking around exposing my dog to the insecticide. Even though he noted that the spray used was plant-based and designed to be kid and pet-friendly, he was still very careful around my dog’s living space. I was very pleased with the service!

I have a screened in porch. For the life of me why don’t you spray on the outside of the screened porch???? Why do you spray at my slider doors and dirty the glass?
I switched from Orkin (where I was fully satisfied) to EcoShield Pest Control in South Atlanta after their sales rep convinced me with promises of better service and results. That was a mistake.<br><br>From day one, they mishandled my service. For my initial treatment, the tech showed up, left, and never serviced my home even though he was supposed to. EcoShield still marked the visit as “completed,” but my security cameras proved nothing was done. Only after I confronted them did they actually return. They also promised I wouldn’t see live bugs after treatments, yet I continued to have anthills in my yard and earwigs in my home.<br><br>The contract was for one year and included a cancellation fee, but EcoShield canceled my account on their own without any notice—no call, no email, nothing. I only discovered this when I called to ask about service. This is not just poor customer service; it’s a violation of the very contract they pressured me into signing.<br><br>EcoShield’s sales tactics are misleading, their customer service is dismissive, and their follow-through is nonexistent. Instead of honoring their contract and fixing the issue, they abandoned me as a customer. At this point, I can’t say with confidence that this company operates with integrity.<br><br>Warning to others: do not be fooled by their sales pitch. They promise the “utmost customer care,” but deliver the exact opposite. If you want reliable pest control, look elsewhere.
Ecoshield is so great. My indoor bugs are almost non-existent since I started using them. And the techs are always so friendly and helpful. Latoya today did such a good job when I didn’t get my dogs out up quick enough. She was so patient and understanding.

Timothy did a great job performing my scheduled pest control service. I wasn’t home and forgot to leave the gate open but he was resourceful and respectful of the property and was able to treat my entire property with no issues. Hope he returns for my next treatment.
Great company, super great customer service, from both the people that come out to do the servicing, and from the in office customer service team. I had to call in the other day to change some details on my account and it didn't take long to reach an actual person. There was a touch tone menu which was quick and easy to get through, and thankfully no AI that I had to talk to. Dexter, the customer service representative I spoke with, was super helpful and great to talk to.
Chris was very helpful and friendly on the phone with scheduling our technician to also spray inside our home. He asked if there were any specific bugs we saw inside our home so that he could make a note of it for the technician. He confirmed appointment date and also repeated back to me the request of spraying inside.
I do recommend this service and this tech. They use only plant based deterrents, including chrysanthemum stuff and herbs. I have two pets who love to sit in the plants so works well. I only just had the service so I can’t speak to the long term impact yet, but I can say Michael was very professional and courteous. He loved my pets too so that’s always a plus! 😉
I received great service from Mr. Jaden G today very mannerable young man. He began his work by introducing himself and the name of his company. Then he ask are we doing the inside of the house today. He did both the inside and outside excellent job he did. After completion he asked is there anything you see that I may have missed, my answer was no you did a great job.
Shoutout to Devonta at EcoShield! He did an amazing job at our place. He was very thorough, patient with questions, and made sure the kids’/pets’ areas were safe. If you need pest control done right, he’s your guy.
I was pleased with first 2 visits. However after those visits the service technician sat outside my basement door smoking cigarettes for 20 minutes. I watched him on camera. I contacted ECHOSHIELD customer service and was told this would not happen again!!WRONG!!! Future visits still left me with spiders, wasps, etc. Despite my complaints, company still pressured me to "tip" the technician!! I finally was so fed up I tried to cancel service but was told I could not cancel until I completed & paid for 10 visits Despite the deplorable service!! Please do not get caught in this scam!! I had just lost my husband and was grieving and unfortunately made very costly mistake!! Please don't let this happen to you or your loved ones by choosing ECHOSHIELD!!!!!

Michael came the first time. He sprayed the inside and outside of my home.<br><br>Andre came the second time. He answered any of my questions and let me know when my next service would be. He did forget to swap the sticky traps placed in my garage my Michael.<br><br>So far pleased with EcoShield.
Isaiah with Ecoshield decided to come solicit at my door. I open the door and told him I was not interested in whatever he was selling, Thank you, and have a good day and closed the door. Isaiah evidently did not like this and decided to ring my door bell again. I stepped back outside and had a long chat with the boy and tried to explain to him that he should have moved on his way after I closed the door on him the first time and told him I was not interested. He continued to be smart mouth with me and was very immature and unprofessional. I tried to explain to him that he was not doing his Ecoshield nore himself any good acting this way. I would highly recommend not using this business as their vetting process and training obviously needs some work. In addition after this incident, I spoke to many of my neighbors who have had tried them in the past for pest control and they had very poor reviews of there service.
AL was very professional and a master in his craft. He broke down my services to where it was easy for me to understand. I highly recommend him personally to come service your home because the job will be done as advertised.
Eli was professional and efficient. I did not witness the exterior application (on phone with doctors for my dad) But the bugs were moving away from the garage and driveway that night. Due to rain the spider web and egg sack removals will have to occur after the holiday weekend. Price point and services so far are 5 star.
Eric was on time and did a great job spraying my garage and clearing the spider webs out. He was very polite and answer my questions. He also made sure he ask me did I have any concerns and let me know if I see an area that needs to redone that Eco Shield would come back out to my property and take care of it. ☺️
On Thursday, August 21st, we were charged $169 for a full pest control service by EcoShield, but full service was not completed.<br><br>My husband left the home briefly to pick up our son and instructed both technicians to treat the entire inside of the home (all rooms) due to spider activity throughout. The service also included treatment of the outdoor space.<br><br>Upon inspection, I found clear evidence the work was not done. All four corners of our patio were still filled with webs, and there was no sign of treatment residue inside the rooms (which normally takes minutes to dry). It appears the technicians assumed no one was present (I was in my office and no one came upstairs) and skipped the work, despite charging us for a full service. When I saw the truck leaving our driveway just 10–15 minutes after arriving, I immediately knew something was off.<br><br>I immediately contacted customer service. The representative attempted to schedule a follow-up a week later, which I refused, as this was not a matter of scheduling a follow-up when the initial servicing was incomplete. I asked for escalation to a manager or corporate, but instead of a resolution, the representative simply recapped my concerns and disconnected the call.<br><br>This level of service is unacceptable. Customers should not be charged for incomplete work, and technicians must be held accountable. I am seeking immediate resolution, including correction of services not rendered, and accountability for the technicians involved.<br><br>I am posting this review to warn other customers about my experience and to encourage EcoShield to uphold the integrity of its services.
I am so happy the owner knocked on my door and told me about his service. I was going to go with another company and I was sold right away. I am so happy that I made the right decision to go with them. Great price and great service. Very detailed as well about all the services that they did on my brand new home. It was great to see a group of young men working so diligently and thoroughly. Jhalen was especially pleasant and patient, taking the time to address every area of concern around my home. I really appreciated the professionalism and care shown throughout the visit. Highly recommended!
Ezra was professional, informative, & respectful. I had a bald hornet hive on my back deck. He educated me on them & removed the hive. In 25 years at this home, this was my first. Thank Ezra!
Justin with EcoShield was extremely good. He took care in not rushing through the job and carefully pointed out tips to decrease on seeing outside critters. To EcoShield Pest Solutions,<br><br>I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the door-to-door sales tactics employed by EcoShield Pest Solutions. Your salesman has repeatedly visited my home and the homes of my neighbors in Buckhead, pushing for pest control services. Your salesman has been described as suspicious, aggressive in his sales approach, and has even attempted to open doors without permission. He has also been misleading. Despite calls to the police and multiple residents declining his services and asking him not to return, he continues to show up. He has spent as much as 10 hours on one street repeatedly returning to homes that he has been asked to stay away from. A call to their headquarters revealed that they do use "door knockers" to get business.<br><br>This persistent and unwelcome solicitation is a significant nuisance and raises serious safety concerns within our neighborhood. I urge you to cease this disruptive practice immediately. No one should work with this company as their misleading sales tactics show that they cannot simply grow off of quality work.
DON’T DO IT! Learn from my mistakes! Them knocking on my no soliciting door should have been a major red flag. I signed up for services and it didn’t help control our pests AT ALL. The salesman used my name and stupidity to try and rope my neighbors in. After nothing improved from services I attempted to cancel and was forced to pay $250 to cancel. It was used as leverage to get my to stay in contact, yet they were able to discount monthly services to less than $100 per month, but early cancellation fee stayed firm. This is a SCAM, avoid at all costs.<br>I’ve posted this review in the other Georgia locations to help people steer clear. They wave cancellation fees for some but not others. BUYER BEWARE.

Copy/pasting this review from their other location so hopefully more people can see this. Let me start from the beginning. A very aggressive salesman knocked on my door and sold me pest control service. I was unhappy with my current provider and decided to give these guys a shot. They told me that they worked with my neighbors (not true), gave me a discount, and talked about the importance of their two week egg cycle treatment (remember this). I was told that there were no contracts/cancellation fees and signed up for initial service. A few minutes later, my neighbor called me because the same door-to-door salesman that I spoke with was seemingly trying to break into their house. My neighbor called the cops and I ended up speaking with the police. I explained that the individual was not a thief, but a door-to-door salesman. I immediately regretted my decision to fold under the pressure of their aggressive salesman, but decided to let them service my property. Initial service was great. The technician was friendly, explained the process, and delivered the service, etc. Now comes the second treatment. Initially, I was told by both the salesman and the technician that the second treatment was very important, in order to break the egg cycle (remember?). However, upon the second visit, I was told that the information provided previously was untrue, and that it was purely a marketing gimmick. Wow, time to cancel services. I called and requested cancellation and was told I need to pay a $200 fee for early cancellation. Remind you, I was previously told that there were no contracts or cancellation fees. I had to escalate the situation and when I mentioned that I would leave a review explaining what happened, they decided to wave the fees. I am here to warn other people about their tactics. While I am sure that they provide a decent service, their sales tactics are unethical. Also, they clearly outsource their customer support and while I am glad they rectified the situation, I am still leaving this review. This is not a business that you want to support. Find someone else.<br><br>Update! I see that they have responded. They are stating that they have no record of me as a customer. Taking zero responsibility. Not surprised. Don't be fooled by their response.
James was awesome! He rung the doorbell to let us know of his presence. He said hello, ask of any concerns that we might have on the outside, and what work would be needed in the inside. He reassured us that we found the right company to take care of our home. Thank you!
