This review is solely on the the customer service just from calling the company. The lady answering the phone was completely rude and unprofessional. You can't answer the phone and ask "how can I help" and then cut me off in the middle of me explaining what I needed. She didn't even let me ask my question before telling me she couldn't help when asking about availability and price quoting for testing. the whole conversation felt like I was inconveniencing her by trying to provide business. If this is how you treat potential customers, not sure I can trust you with issues in my home.

BioRestore put me in contact with Jeremy Woods who went above and beyond in explaining the intricacies of asbestos testing and removal. A tree fell on our house and asbestos was found in the Sheetrock mudd. BioRestore did an awesome job helping us with our insurance company (Nationwide). The insurance company only wanted to replace the ceiling but BioRestore said the walls needed replacement, as well. BioRestore made multiple calls to the insurance company and the owner is very involved. They made sure what needed to be done for the safety of our family was done. It took a little while (due to the insurance company) but BioRestore stood by our side. They did not give up on us. They have experience working with the insurance companies and they are not afraid. I would definitely recommend BioRestore. They really work on your behalf.

We had a fantastic experience with the BioRestore team. During our walkthrough, Peter was helpful and clear in communicating about our issues and the recommended remedy. He also gave honest explanations of policies and practices including helping us to avoid a potential conflict of interest that could be used in his industry to take advantage of the client. The team of technicians, Mina, Xavier, Cedric, and Alexus, were very professional and sensitive to the needs of the household, from Covid safety to the care they took to minimize overall impact to cleanup. Mina was an excellent and knowledgeable point of contact and followed through and followed up in communicating consistently and in a timely fashion. Overall an excellent experience and we came away with good advice for future maintenance and prevention steps.

I feel like we were sold on what we wanted to hear and received a day and a half of effort. This resulted in a visible mold colonies all over the house still while the supervisor was telling me that everything was cleaned. And when I asked if the ducts had been cleaned, the supervisor promised that they were all cleaned. Then I started unscrewing every vent in the house, not one was cleaned... So she berated her employees on the phone in front of me instead of admitting that she didn't inspect anything. The second go-round has still left a ton of untouched areas. Peter is a very nice guy, I really wish that they had followed through on their promises. Look elsewhere for mold remediation

Wow! I have absolutely nothing but positive things to say about this company and every employee I spoke with. My most memorable interactions were with Ryan and Peter. Ryan took my initial call and after a failed attempt working with another mold company, Ryan made me and my client feel right at home. BioRestore took us under their wing and held our hand throughout. From there, the remarkable service tech, named Peter was extremely thorough and checked the home in areas we didn’t even ask (which was shocking and admirable)! Our inspection was completed late on a Friday afternoon and our report was due back Monday. (They have a 24hr weekday turnaround but we didn’t know this.) On Saturday I reached out to Peter for an update and he immediately got back to us. Peter literally made an exception to send the report on his OFF DAY, just to accommodate us! JUST WOW! How often does a company NOT try and take your money? I experienced this first hand with BioRestore! We had a toilet supply line leak that impacted the bathroom and adjoining playroom. We'd been smelling a mildew-y smell in the playroom for a few days and I called BioRestore to check it out before we installed new carpet.<br><br>Peter arrived and not only looked in the bathroom/playroom, he inspected the dining room and basement, where water had dripped down to. He was able to share what we should do to stop the growth of mold before it starts. He also shared which machines to rent and products to buy - he could have easily done that himself and charged us, but he said he wanted to give us a DIY option that would work just as well.<br><br>24 hours later and that mildew smell is gone, just like he said. We are so happy that we can relax knowing that no mold will grow in our home after the leak.<br><br>Peter even emailed afterwards to share all of the info in written format.<br><br>I could not have asked for a more enjoyable and helpful experience. A person can tell a lot about a company by its service long after the sale is made. We used Biorestore in 2017 for asbestos abatement. In 2021, we listed the property for sale but could not find the asbestos abatement letter from Biorestore. I called Matt on a Tuesday evening after business hours and he returned my call the same day. Not only did Matt promptly return my call after hours but Jacob emailed me the letter we needed the same day as well. Biorestore customer service and prompt response is outstanding. And, my request was over four years after the project was completed. Kudos to Matt, Jacob and the Biorestore team!!!

The work itself by the techs was good in terms of cleaning the mold I had and sealing off the room affected. Here is why I have an issue... On the opposite side of the room, the baseboard was pulled up when this had NO issue with mold or anything. In the process, the bar they used to remove the baseboard had punctured the wall deep and in some cases turned the drywall to mush because they pushed it in beyond what they needed.<br><br>The primary reason this gets 2 stars is due to a MAJOR lack of communication! After they setup shop and got the equipment in, I had to do the all the leg work to find out why they weren't here at the time promised. In every case, they showed up a minimum of 2 hrs late in each instance. In once instance, they never even showed up. All I care about is I am kept in the loop because things happen. I got this whole song and dance about working till 2am etc, which as a customer, I couldn't care less about. Just call me at 9am and tell me you won't make it. So overall, I had to arrange for scheduling when the manager of the job should have handled that.<br><br>The final reason for low stars is that when the techs arrived, they didn't even KNOW WHAT THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO DO on that particular day!!!! I'm sorry but I have to question how many people actually work locally here in Alpharetta GA. To me it feels like only 6 people work there and they simply don't talk to each other. The job estimator never told the workers what he quoted, and the manager also had no idea. So between the workers, the manager of the job and estimator, there is no doubt any of them spoke to each other ever. I mean WOW! Talk about a serious lack of customer service!<br><br>Sadly, I wish I could give more stars because they truly cleaned it all out very well, but that was only because I had to keep leaning on them to talk to me about when they were gonna show up, then call them again and again asking, "where are you?" Then having to call the job estimator was worse because the manager and crew had no idea what he had quoted to be done. I didn't have an issue with the actual techs who came out but rather the management of the job and management in general. Thankfully, we worked it out as adults without any words of regret.<br><br>See pictures to see what I mean about the baseboard. The issue was totally on the opposite side of the room. This caused me unneeded expense to remediate.

Had large mildew growing in my condo due to water intrusion from the balcony. The first guy who came out to inspect was wonderful and the reason I went with the company. However, he wasn’t there the day Biorestore came back to do the work.<br><br>A young, unprofessional guy was leading the crew who ripped up my glued down hardwoods and caused damage to many more planks than they needed to.. even making a big X on one and not removing it. In the middle of winter they used my balcony door to vent the room and left a huge gaping hole in the plastic that I had to duct tape off myself (right before an ice storm).<br><br>They were supposed to come back 2-3 days later but they “didn’t have time” so I had to fight to get them to come take it all down. I was actually told I could turn off the machine myself and rip down all the plastic. So what was I paying 2200 for?!<br><br>When my contractor came out to replace the floors once their work had been done, he told me they failed to remove the wet, mildew filled weather backer and sealant. So I paid MORE money to have my contractor remove this completely soaked and mildewed material.<br><br>I did put a call in about this to the original guy who assessed the damage but it took him weeks to call me back. At that point, I was sick of dealing with this company, paid the money and felt nauseated about every penny.

Trying to understand why Dutch tape was used to hold up the laid out covering in my crawl space I had a another vendor who had to crawl. Called to complain and no answer I’ll be calling again tomorrow.

After speaking with several companies, I chose Jacob at BioRestore, he was the only one who fulfilled everything in the time frame as promised. Professional and efficient!!! Answered questions even after hours to assure me of the procedure. Take your hat off to him, I ask so many questions!<br>His actions truly shows he cares about his customers! Being a former Realtor, I’m not the easiest person to please! Remediation of toxic mold, it isn’t easy to find a reliable and dependable company! We had quite the surprise when a buyer's home inspection revealed mold in our attic. The demanding buyer gave us only a week to get it resolved and we were at wit's end. We lucked into meeting Matt at BioRestore and he took care of us...with professional knowledge, responsive communication, and VERY quick mold remediation (they were on site the next day). Their work was thorough and the attic looked brand new upon their completion! The buyer was happy and we closed a few days later. BioRestore saved the day for us and worked overtime to make sure everyone was happy. I will always recommend them in the future.

Finding asbestos in our house was absolutely awful and stressful, but working with Matt and BioRestore gave us a ton of peace of mind. The work was done on-time, the prep work they did to isolate the rest of the house was rigorous, and their clean-up was as good as I could hope. Even the GC that we hired to continue the kitchen reno after BioRestore was done stated they were happy to hear that BioRestore completed the abatement work, said they too like going to them if abatement is needed. VERY PLEASED with the mold testing & remediation services provided by BioRestore!!! The 2,500 square foot unfinished basement in our home (originally built in 1999) had visible mold in one small area along one of the rim joists. This was certainly going to be a non-starter in the upcoming sale of our home as the prospective buyer(s) would certainly have done their own testing (or, even worse, having spotted the mold would have moved on to other new homes for sale without saying anything to us). BioRestore had really great reviews so we went with them. To save some money, my wife & I moved all of the items stored in the basement to one of our garage bays during the treatment. The treatment itself was done by a crew of three that applied the spray treatment and wiped down every bit of the wood framing in our 2,500 square foot basement. Before application of the mold-killing solution, they installed air barriers and HEPA vacuums to keep the airborne peroxide solution from entering the rest of the house. They also provided us with the documentation presenting detailed air testing results showing the levels in our treated basement for the four types of commonly found mold spores (Ascospores, Aspergillus, Cladosporium, and Myxomycetes) after treatment were substantially lower than that found in the air outside. The spray treatment had a slight odor of oranges but it dissipated after a few days and we now have a clean, mold-free basement with no unpleasant odors or visible mold. The only task left to do is to spray Big Stuff expanding foam to seal the inch or two gap along the top of about 35 feet of the rim joist so air & moisture can not move into the basement from the concrete foundation poured to support our front and back porches. We could not be more pleased with the service provided by the BioRestore professionals!!

BioRestore arrived at our home, within an hour, late one evening, after finding a large water leak in our kitchen Eric and Ryan assessed the damage, explaining what the next steps would be to treat the mold and mold spores, securing our home with their equipment to dry out all of the areas effected and containing further spread of the mold spores. All of their employees were professional, kind, understanding and knowledgeable, treating our home with the respect. Peter always called before they arrived to our home and at the times we agreed on. Matt, one of the owners, was available at anytime, even weekends, for questions or concerns we may have. There are very few companies that would do this. Luke took the time and went to great lengths, ensuring I understood exactly what the process was to remove the mold spores and explained in great detail the natural products they would be using and bringing into our home. We would highly recommend this company and appreciate all the time they spent explaining the steps that needed to be taken to treat, clean and remove the mold in our home and making it a safe environment for our Family.

Great experience all around. I called late one evening and he came the next day. After seeing the damage he scheduled me in even though it was short notice. He and his team do great work and explained the entire process. The quoted price was what he charged even after seeing that there was more damage than initially shown. They will be my first and only call if I have any other issues in the future.

My wife and I were trying to buy a house in Atlanta. We got an awesome inspector and he saw mold in the crawl space that the seller of the house tried to hide. My wife and I didn't trust the sellers to take care of the mold themselves being that the had done a halfway job on the house renovations so we sought after our own mold specialist and that is how we found Matt! He was so professional and willing to help. He told us to send him the inspection report, and Matt took it upon himself to get further information by contacting our inspector. He then gave us a call and gave us a detailed consultation of the things that maybe wrong within the house in regards to the mold and moisture and an estimate of how much we were possible looking at it to get it all fixed, and done correctly. We ended up not getting the house because the seller was very sketch and just wanted to use Matt for the inspection and Matt is so professional I didn't even want to waste his time, so we are still on the search. BUT if I EVER come into a mold problem again. He will be THE FIRST person I call. Very thorough, and knows what it takes to get the job done correctly so you wont have any more issue with moisture or mold. If you are thinking about using him don't think twice, just pick up the phone and give him a call. HE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, and my wife and I are very picky, and can be hard to impress. Bio Restore was so easy to work with and very prompt with the service. I called them day before Thanksgiving with an asbestos issue and they were out the same day. I had a test of the house done and results were back by Monday . Great to work with.

BioRestore have completely changed my two year old daughter’s quality of life. For the first year my family moved into our new home, my daughter could not stop coughing at night and was always going to the doctor. After we checked her into the hospital due to loss of appetite and still coughing every night, we discovered she had “spotting” on her lungs.
