The ABSOLUTE BEST! Above and beyond don’t even describe the length of diligence and hard work thermal king provides. Josh and Michael are extraordinarily professional and deeply care about providing the best service and the best solution that actually makes long term sense for the homeowner. They completely repaired and replaced insanely faulty and inconsistent old insulation we had, in addition to making sure that anything else that needed fixing was promptly repaired and addressed. Josh and Michael were extremely professional from our very first interaction. They kept me informed and up to date on scheduling, and on the day of the install they arrived right on time. This is going to be a long review, but I want you to understand how good these guys are!

Our house has always felt drafty in the winter and in the summer the upstairs gets overly hot anytime the temps get above 90º. The problem worsened after the automatic roof fan was removed during a roof replacement. It had been compensating the poor insulation by pulling air-conditioned air into the attic, wasting energy. My office is in the southeast corner of the house, and was especially bad in the summer since it gets sun all day. A FLIR camera even showed a thermal gap where insulation appeared to have slid down the walls.

Michael came out and did a thorough assessment and identified several issues, including the fact that the original insulation wouldn’t meet current code, and some of the vertical bats were installed backwards. He quickly provided an estimate that itemized different options, allowing me to pick and choose which things I wanted. The pricing was reasonable, and I even opted to go for R60 because the price wasn’t that much more than R49. Michael and Joshua arrived promptly at 8AM and explained exactly what was going to happen. It was a big job, but they worked non-stop and finished a little after 1 PM. That area in my office where I thought insulation had slipped? It actually had none. Because that wall extends above the attic floor, it had been missed entirely. Now, the FLIR camera shows no temperature difference at all!

So did it work? I was skeptical I would notice much difference, but let me tell you I DO! We are having a cold snap (28º right now) and I just bumped the 1st floor thermostat from 70º to 74º. Before Thermal King, this would taken forever … like waiting for my oven to preheat, but longer. Tonight, it took 5 MINUTES! Way faster, I’m shocked. My office is noticeably more comfortable, too.

Some things that impressed me with Thermal King: * No pressure. Here’s the options, here’s our recommendation, let us know if you have questions! * Before and after pictures. LOTS of pictures. He even sent me a video-slide show that night with the highlights. * During installation, they discovered one section of my roof was missing vent baffles, so they installed new ones before blowing any insulation. Free! * You know there’s usually one of those paper “rulers” they put up there to show how much insulation you have? They used multiple insulation rulers to ensure consistent depth, unlike the original uneven work. * They don’t run the blower full-throttle. They run it at a slower speed so that they have better control of where they put the insulation and to make sure it’s level. * On slanted sections (like vaulted ceilings) they install the radiant barrier in a way that keeps the insulation from sliding off. I’m genuinely impressed with Thermal King and thrilled with the results. The house feels tighter, more efficient, and I can’t wait to see how it performs this summer. Highly recommended!

These guys were awesome! They took time on my quote and didn’t rush through any questions I had. I really appreciated the fact that they made themselves available to me anytime- all the way up to the date of installation. Honestly the before and after was crazy!! I could tell they went above and beyond and cared about the details even down to cleaning up after and making it look uniform. I’m impressed with Michael (owner) honesty, transparency, expertise, and communication. From the first call through his visit to create a quote (excellent value) to the insulation work and his follow up communication, this has been one of the best experiences I’ve ever had with any home contractor.

Great people to work with. They came out and gave the attic a look over. Told me what needed to be changed for a few issues with the fire place, hot water tank exhaust and bathroom fans. Gave us a few quotes on the different amount of insulation needed for the attic. Went with the R-60, as the house hasn't had any new insulation since it was built. A great price for the entire cost of the services and upgrades. On the day of the install no issues at all. They placed floor covering down, wore covers for their shoes. Took about four hours to install. It's only been a week, but we can tell the difference on the warmth of the house. An amazing company to do business with.

I was asked to give a review after installation in my attic in December. Of courese, I wanted to see how it stacked up before reviewing. So I waited a month through what we all know was some of the coldest winter weather we have had in decades. Thermal King has saved me money the very first month. My bill is lower from 2024 when it only got into the 30's and this year we had snow, ice and very cold temperatures. My gas bill was actually lower by about $20. As for the insulation, very well done with great efficeincy and and no impact on my home. I had several estimates and though a little more higher in price, Thermal King spent more time up there analyzing than the other companies and made me feel they truly assessed the needs for my home.I feel they were well worth every cent. I can't wait to see the payoff in the summer. With the recent cold spell we have just gone through I suggest you give them a call immediately.

After the most recent winter storm, I realized it was time to get more insulation in my attic. I got quotes from a few different companies but ultimately, I decided to go with Thermal King because Michael was the most thorough during the estimate process. He gave me multiple options and didn’t try to upsell me on anything. He just went up there, took a bunch of pictures, and gave me a very informative assessment on what I needed. Michael did a very thorough job in improving the insulation in my attic. He took plenty of time to answer my questions and give lots of options during the planning stage (much more so than other contractors I received estimates from). I hired Thermal King to replace my attic insulation and install a door seal. Like many of the other reviews have said, these guys are fantastic. From the initial quote, to my random questions months after the job is done, they have been the epitome of professionalism. I have hired many companies for jobs around the house for things like pressure washing, plumbing, roof replacement, etc. and Thermal King has been the best, by far. If you need attic insulation done, hire them.

These guys are very knowledgeable, they gave us several affordable options to choose from. We always got great communication and when they came to do the job they were professional, fast and very clean. We felt an immediate difference in how well our AC cooled the house. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

I would Ike to do a HUGE shout out to Thermal King for helping with our massive issue with insulation that our builder left us in. Backstory: We hired a builder to completely gut and tear down to studs a small existing home and then add on another roughly 3500sq ft brand new added in working with architect. It has been nothing but pain since moving in including two issues we are battling currently to resolve which was 1) our new finished basement flooding (which builder said not his problem this second round of it happening and now had to hire on lawyer) and 2) issues with our home being able to deal with any kind of normal heat/cold (and yes even worse with this crazy heat). I won’t go into basement as that is a whole saga but I contacted Thermal King to come and look at my situation. In short code for an attic is R38 which equates to roughly 14” of blown insulation. Our attic had anywhere from 0” ( we had a huge hole down to interior bathroom wall with plumbing) to mostly 6-8” on average and some spots 10”. So, our R value was nothing to maybe R22 if we were lucky in some spots. As you will see in pictures just some of the areas and the levels after measuring devices were added how poorly done everything was. The last picture is how my entire attic it looks now after the work! Needless to say I am amazed that our home passed any kind of insulation inspection as there weren’t even markers in the attic spaces and visually you could tell it wasn’t right…I just had no idea it was that bad. Now, on to the good and Thermal King to the rescue! Michael and team were amazing in coming in to help perform proper insulation, that should have been done the first place, and to help address our issues. The same day upon completion of their work the entire kids wing of our home is now able to maintain a cool temperature and not get up to 80 degrees or more with an AC running non-stop. Also, they helped my office as they added radiant barrier and help address insulation issues and gaps with that were present all over. The office is a tricky space but the correction in missing/improper insulation in numerous areas on the walls as well as radiant barrier has helped drop this area over 7 degrees and while not perfect yet it is much more manageable. So, if you need an honest, fair priced and done correctly solution for anything insulation related to your home I 1000% recommend Thermal King and Michael Oliver. Thank you for everything Michael and Thermal King and we look forward in the future will having you correct our Master Bedroom side of the home that has the same insulation issues in all of the attic spaces there that were visible.

I vetted the market and received 3 quotes from different insulation installation companies. Many companies used smoke and mirrors in their estimates. Thermal king was direct with communication and able to correlate data to conserving my energy consumption. I was able to select the best insulation amount for my needs and budget. I didn’t feel pressured to add solar fans or other pricey add ons. Thermal king installer were gentlemen who were professional and prompt. My house was immaculate after the install. These guys are some of the good ones. My home thermostat is able to stay 4 degrees higher this summer and still my home is comfortable. Thanks guys for the royal treatment! Having to deal with the various contractors and companies to get quotes and schedule work was not something I looked forward to. I had a great experience working with Michael! He was very informative with all of the questions I had as I got quotes from various companies to add insulation to the attic of our older home. Seems it’s always the last 10% that gets most contractors. Not these guys, they where extremely throughout and clean while installing insulation in my attic. I also had them fix the basement fiberglass bats I installed. To boot, I received a video at the end of the project of the work they completed. Honest, clean and 100% recommendable.

They showed when scheduled went right to work. They did not waste time even fixed a couple of small issues they found for no charge. Cleaned up so no mess. Very happy and my electric bill is down by about 200 in June

I couldn't be more happy with the work done by Thermal King. I had a house done that was built in 1999 blown and I went from AC units that would not stop running and could not cool the house to units that run infrequently. I am going to see a ROI just in heating and cooling bills and a huge plus that my family is comfortable in winter and summer. Great job Thermal King and I would recommend you to anyone that asks!
